  • I hadnt intended to start Dylan swimming just yet, but with his hydrotherapy I have to take him to the pool to do his exercises that they will be doing with him and have been told they are far to hard to do in a bath !! Need another few pounds off to fit in my cossie as I really dont want to have to buy a new one

MM i need one .. i havent been swimming since zoe was 9 months and then i went in shorts and t shirt x
    :)Still searching .....:)
  • I used to go swimming all the time, and am actually quite good at it, but just done feel comfortable in a cossie anymore, so havent been in ages. I took Jasmine to swimming lessons so she still gets, but I dont have to go in, and she goes with my sister and nephew usually once a month but that is mainly for use of the slides !!
Thing is, if we take Dylan, I will take Jas too, but she is too big for the baby pool, so Chris will have to come aswell and one of us go to the baby pool, and one in the main pool !! I can almost guarantee that I will have the baby pool every time !

We love it. It is only £1 a session and Benjamin loves the water. We have only been going for 2 weeks and he has come on so much (45 mins a session). Benjamin was 7 months when we started.

AF - have you seen MB is touring in 2010???

    Edit - night SB

DH -phoned about 8pm to see how DS1 was doing, fine I said. I woke Amber up for her feed so I could try and get her in bed upstairs for 9pm and what happened just as she wakes up fully and decides that she needs her milk now? DS1 throws up all over the bathroom floor because he has to wash his hands after he is sick and he then trails it through the hall and into his room to go get the bowl! Course it also manages to get everywhere meaning it was a good 20min clean up job while Amber is screaming her little head off because mummy woke her up then !!!!!!ed off!

No shopping for me tommorrow then, humph.

Anyway, I'm off to bed because I feel downright miserable for no reason at all.

MFD, are Benjamin's swimming lessons run by a national group or a local independent?

http://www.splishsploshbabies.com/ do lessons near us. I think there is also a mum and baby session at one of the leisure centres too.

We're going to try it on holiday (as long as the pool's warm enough) then thinking about starting lessons in January, so 7.5 months :)
