feelie - don't be put off by GP go back again it's what they r there 4.

    busy day

went to town - everyone stares at Joey and comments on how little Jack is in it! so much easier than pushing a pram though!!!
a group of teens saw me and the girls wre going ahhhhhhh, then one said I wish I was a baby again so i could just eat & sleep. one of the lads said
'yeah and I can lay my head on those t1ts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' OH & I nearly wet ourselves laughing!!!!

went to babies r us & got jacks cot mattress (thanks Fitzio) £129 down to £65 :money:

swapped nappies for mega box in ASDA but she refunded it wrong so I got £23 back (even though I only paid £18) and bought the 2 boxes for £18 so made a fiver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just sorting out our room to put the cot in, I'll get sheets in ASDA tomorrow cos they were expensive in babies r us!

got some medium teats so will sterilise & try later.

very productive day but I'm not knackered!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

feelie remember how much you put into getting toby to BF, i think you need to put all that strength into fighting with the doctors and getting yourself better. you need to keep going back and even see another doctor and refuse to leave until something is done. i cant believe your OH is not for Toby going to a childminder but wont help out either? and i think you need to talk to your mum, she would rather know now and be able to help rather than coming home and things being ten times worse. we are all here for you and hoping things get easier as more than anyone you need a break xx
What's for you won't go past you
  • Feely - have questions of Toby's parentage come up recently? Or has that all been settled?

MFD sorry haven't been keeping up with the thread that well, assumed no kids of her own was wishlist rather than a serious want (you are so sensible I thought you would have realised it was a dream request)

You are confuzzling me now!! I have seen 6 childminders and this is the only one who had kids at home....I didn't want a CM with little kids at home (don't mind older kids LOL!) - so not a dream at all

Caz, toast and jam is good for a dodgy tummy, more so if it's wholemeal bread.

Feelie, I don't know wjat to say, but your OH either has to help more or accept a CM.

I made pumkin soup and it's yum. Roasted seeds are bleughrghrrr!

Caz, can Erin have toast, maybe? Does she still accept purees or is it all chunky things now.. was thinking of baby rice? Banana?

I just remember an American health book my mum had.. For an upset stomach, it was rice, toast, apple sauce and something else..

Hugs, feelie - it seems to me that your relationship with Toby isn't the problem and that he makes you happy. But you do need to be able to get away and have just-you time sometimes. Maybe spending some time at your mum's would be a good idea.

We're just back from Ikea. I'm tired and cranky and I've hurt my foot. Tomorrow's another busy day, we have to go to the Mieterverein to complain some more about my former and our current landlords (missing €2k deposit and no notice on major noisy renovation in our building), Husband has to get his credit rating sorted out (perils of his previous last name being so common...) and a trip to the dentist. I'm going to enjoy the Mama and Molly time and we're going to find some mayhem and get into it :)

BM - have you tested again yet? You're killing me with curiosity.

Jumperoo seems to have gone down well.. just needs longer arms. Short legs problem is solved by putting his changing box under him :o

Finally tired him out, anyhow - lifted him out, he rested his head on my shoulder and was sparko! :)
