Just found OH asleep in his office chair.. Made him go to bed then sat on the bed too, giving Rhys his bottle. OH just came out with a very sleepy "You're ace, you are". When I asked why, he said "Cos you look after Rhys and you feed him and you tidy up and everything".. :rolleyes:0

Night night SM
I suppose as he thinks I tidy, I really ought to shift a few things into a semi-organised pile in the corner..
ETA: Random question for Wigan-ers.. Do you ever go to Taybarns?I'd never heard of them 'til they were mentioned on BBC Brekkie this morning. Was just having a neb at their website and noticed they have one in Wigan. Apparently they're growing in popularity despite the recession (that's what the article was about).

Elle - I'm not from Wigan but I've been there and I love it! Just because there are so many things you can choose frommust admit though you can get a bit greedy, I always have 2 puddings
:rotfl: There is also one in Barnsley I've been to that one too

Morning ladies
Well Josh is in Skegness with my mum and dad for the week - he couldn't decide whether to sleep in the bed with a view of the rubbish bin or the bed with a view of the sea!
Quite misty and murky here this morning. Got to go to the Post Office later to post an ebay parcel so hope it clears up.
Off to try and catch up.............Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -

We were all just going along thinking it may be a problem with her eyes and her struggling to focus...but meeting the other aunt (my other SIL LOL) today she confided that she thinks it could be a sign of autism.
I was completely taken aback, I don't really know much about autism so I wasn't really sure where she was coming from...but I guess that you don't just conjure up words like that without feeling that there is some basis to them.
I feel like I have a big burden on me nowespecially as I have a baby who seems to be developing really quickly
I don't want to get into a situation where I am saying that there is something wrong with her baby IYSWIM.
Anybody with a 15 week old....they should be making eye contact and focussing on stuff shouldn't they?
Lack of eye contact is one of the earliest markers for autism, but there are lots of other things it could be too. Also the research about spotting it before 1 year is very new and not yet well supported by evidence. GN might be overstimulated when she sees you all (lots of unfamiliar faces, talking, laughter). Fergus used to turn his face away when he'd had enough of people! I'm sure you've thought of that one, but I think there are lots of non-worrying explanations too.
About the burden thing. I think it's probably not your 'stuff' if you see what I mean? Bacause Fergie and benjamin were so close in due date I do sometimes compare them in my mind, even now, and think 'wow!' when I hear about Benjamin's development. But I feel like it's my responsibility in our relationship to make sure that doesn't turn into unhelpful comparison.
I never feel that you talk about benjamin's development in an unhelpful way that would make anyone else feel bad, and it's brilliant to hear about the different ages children do things.
So what am I saying, um, nowt really! Just try not to worry if you can, you're brilliant and I wish you were my auntie:D.
Good grief that makes me sound about 9 years old :rotfl:

Your brother has a very random degree combination going on! It would be really interesting to hear how the two of those fitted together. What's his dinner party chat like?
He went on to a masters in computer animations, so he is fairly eclectic. His dinner party chat is... at a tangent usually ;p still not clear how he combined the two disciplines meaningfully! Something to do with the meaning of existence I guess.
Elle, I don't need to say what everyone else has about the DLA but I am thinking it ;p
Ooo Keely I might make pumpkin soup now! Was it quite easy?
Does Elliott eat it, or the roasted seeds? He is just a bit younger than Elijah so I am always interested about his experiences
On weights, Elijah went from 50th to 0.4th centile via vomit and reflux, but - probably sounds unlikely - he was never less than healthy during the weight loss period. He really wasn't suffering!0 -

My husband does a lot of the cooking in our house, but apparrently it was easy to makeElliot had his soup dunked in some bread and he seemed to enjoy it
A lot ended up in his hair, but that's part of the fun!
