Why is it so expensive? Just looks like a bit of plastic. £17.99 seems quite steep.0

Is it just me that can't get the darned thing in then???
Been trying for months!
I'm totally behind the idea of them, but in practice, I'm not so sure.

I got one, I haven't had a chance to use it yet
Ive been told that a little KY around the rim helps it in a little better:j Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus :j0 -

I've been swimming using it with no problems. But still to scared to try that when I have a heavy period!0

I'm thinking about investing in this too. Anyone had problems with leakage at all?? Either when wearing or when removing?

I havent had any leakage whilst using it. I have read somewhere that you can only get leakage if its not in properly and its quite obvious if its not in properly (for me anyway!)
I'm not so good at taking it out but if you do it while you are on the toilet it doesnt matter!!
Highly recommended.0 -
Why dont they advertise these more? I have been moaning about the cost of tampax for years and the answer was out there all along.
What a great idea. I just hope it works for me0 -
 Being a big conspiracy theorist, I reckon they're not advertised because it isn't in the interest of Boots etc. or the big companies that make millions out of tampax etc.
Shops must make a fortune, not just from women buying "feminine hygiene" products, but from the fact that people have to go into the shop to get them every month, and probably come away with a bagload of various other things as well.0 -
I agree with what you're saying, they're a huge business and want to keep profits to the max. Funny thing is, the first ad I saw for the mooncup is in the May/June edition of Boots own Health and Beauty mag! It's advertised as 'Boots' mooncup - is it originally a Boots idea???
