Much less risk of TSS with mooncup than with tampons as it doesn't absorb, just 'collects'. Just remember to empty and rinse it twice a day and boil/sterilise/dishwash! between cycles and it's more hygenic than tampons.

It's great! I've had mine for about six months and I won't go back to tampons. A brilliant money saver and you never have to worry about how many sanitary products to take on holiday ever again.

Just wanted to add how much I love mine too. It took a couple of cycles to get used to it, but now I am an old pro
I cut the stem right off as well, it made it much more comfy.
