Hey Missy, I'm good too. feeling positive about new job and been eating loads of hearty food like HM soups and casseroles in this bitter cold weather. Not saying I haven't had a few biscuits! but at least the basics are there. Glad your new job is better Missy X'The road to a friends house is never long'0

hey everyone,
That's a really good way of thinking about things Jellie, I think I might follow your lead, I will try and do some things at once but others I can just add into my life when I have time and space to do so. How you feeling now hun? Need to catch up on your diary.
That's good about Nationwide Chrisblue!! And patience seems to be something I was not blessed with either!!
Hey souk, I made some lovely roasted veggie soup yesterday in an aim to keep me warm whilst I am on security nights. healthy eating is going a little out of the window, as all I am craving whilst on nights is yummy sweets and sweet things, due to being so tired.
Right well I suppose I should get on really.

oh dear I am awake already only had three hours sleep, think I might be tired later!.
Being awake all night, gives you a lot of time to think.... so my resolutions and thoughts for the coming year are mounting per night!!! I am really looking forward to this next year, what with getting married and hopefully getting pregnant, starting my veggie patch and getting rid of my debts, it is going to be the best year!
Have been doing lists of menu and shopping planning, in the hope that next year i can get the cost right down. Hopefully to £100 a month and that's only when OH is home I can get it down to a lot less when he's away. Do intend to build up a bit of a store though and to fill the freezer and always have meals in there.
Still got a few things to get for Christmas am going to try and get them ordered today, got millions to wrap up but will hopefully have time to do them on friday.
Just watched saturday kitchen, hmmmm what's on now.... oh nigellas christmas kitchen!!!! yaaay0 -
Saturdays are so much nicer with James

OOh did you see Delia the other night? She was rare as always! However as my mother would say, you can do all that or you can just nip to M and S and they'll do it for you!'The road to a friends house is never long'0

Hey everyone, yes I did see the delia thing, I do love cooking but you are right m & s is fantastic just wish I could afford it!!
The Hummus bit was ace!! Or the who mousse bit should I say. I love harry hill, I managed to watch Youve been framed and harry hills tv burp on saturday, to me thats a good night!! My god I'm sad!
Well I managed to get some more of my Christmas shopping done today on line, I did it as soon as I got in which was good, Just got OH's coat and speakers to buy along with my brother in laws and my dads, why are men so difficult?! I think next year I am going to give everyone vouchers!!!! Stingey but easy
Well haven't done any cooking since I've been on nights and I think OH is wasting away with currently eating everything in the freezer!!:rotfl: oh well at least it will be practically empty for me to start the new year on to do all of my meal plans etc, this is one I want to start on jan 1st. Still not sure if OH will be here for New Year, I don't mind either way to be honest as we're not going to do a lot and if he's away I get to have an MSE Christmas with you guys, which to be honest I think I'd actually quite like!
Money is really tight this month as I don't get paid before Christmas, but I am trying to work it accordingly. OH asked if we could go out friday night but it always costs us a fortune, so we are going to go out thursday night after a few last bits of shopping have an early bird deal which last time came out at a tenner, and share a bottle of wine, then go back, hopefully spending £20 each instead of the £60+ we used to pre mse. Then on friday I am going to cook a lovely meal and we are going to watch a dvd... I know Christmas is a time to go out and have a good time, but you can't really when money wont let you. I do feel a bit rubbish about it though
I know it is definitely for the best, I guess I will just have to make it so we have such a lovely time at home we wont need to go out :T
So looking forward to 2010, it makes me smile whenever I think about it.:D
Right lunch...

Hi Missymoo, Just found your diary. Havn't had time yet to read it all yet though i promise i will. Just wanted to congratulate you for being so clever to get your finances sorted before you get married, have babies etc. I dont know how old you are but you must be young (babies) I think to get clued up on things now is very intelligent of you. I wish you all the best for your future.
Theres a lot of lovely people on here. They have helped me and i'm sure lots and lots of others too. I will be back.0 -
