Well this is my second offical day at working in my new job and I love it! Everyone seems so very nice, there are no b*tchy girls, there are only 4 girls and they are lovely.
I don't have to get up until 6am now leave home at 0645 and then in the evening leave work at 16:50pm so am home before 1800pm, which is sooo much better than all the other horrid hours I was working before. They have a gym too which I am going to start using at lunch time. And I get to finish at half four on a Tuesday so going to go on the sunbed on this day as I need to start looking after myself a bit more.
Have started to feel a lot better eating healthier. Have been thinking and every year I start in January with new years resolutions, then give up after a couple of days, but this year I'm going to get ahead of the game on some things. So my healthy eating started on Sunday even taking a healthy balanced lunch in and having breakfast which is unheard of. And have done my nails so that I don't bite them, I am going to the gym this afternoon, and on the sunbed after. I am organising myself better in the evening too so it isn't a mad rush in the morning..... so hopefully I can keep it up and worst comes to the worst and I don't manage it, I can always start again on 1st Jan.
I need to get into the habit of cleanse tone and moisturizing, moisturizing my whole body too, and dying my hair so that my white streak doesnt show!!! I always feel loads better when I look better. I also want to do a lot more cooking at home and filling the freezer up. Have also decided to never let OH go shopping he spends a fortune!! Am also going to keep better track of my money, so that I can pay things off quicker. Also need to start taking care of my possessions too, as in my car is in desperate need of a clean but I still haven't done it... think I might actually write out a resolution list, might be a bit easier to keep track!!!!! And also going to do a major sort out of my stuff, I'm sure I don't need it all.
OMG wasn't it cold this morning, I actually had ice on my car.... definitely a sign of things to come..... brrrr just want to be at home all snuggled under my blankie. Think I might go and have another cup of tea.
Speak soon

my tummy was actually rumbling today. i have been good the past few days and only eating when i am supposed to be rather than grazing throughout the day. Resolutions that start now seem a great idea. Good luck with themMe, DD1 20, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190

Thanks Slm. That's exactly what I'm doing eating wise, if I want a snack then it'll have to be fruit! It's really hard though as there were welsh cakes being passed around yesterday and there are chocolate biscuits going begging today! Not good!! Must remain strong.
Trouble is I am constantly thinking about food now though!! Having risotto for dinner, but am going to have more meat than rice, OH can have the extra rice, he's like a beanpole anyway.
Feeling really positive today think it must be the combination of new job and eating better, and getting more sleep :T yaaay things are looking up!

Morning!!
Feeling happy and positive again yippee, although I start nights tomorrow on security just for the week (everyone has to do it here), which should be great!! Or not as the case maybe 13 hour shifts then my long drive home!!! Don't think I will get to see OH all week!! But I will get to read my books when I'm on a break which will be nice.
Am starving today though!! Must resist!!
How is everyone today?

Good to hear you're in a more positive frame of mind. All those resolutions sound good.
I used to try and change too many things at once and crash and burn after a while. I also found that Winter is not necessarily the best time for me to change some habits. i still make resolutions between Christmas and New Year as it seems a natural thing to do. However I make different resolutions for different months. Hopefully if I get into new habits for a month they will generally carry on. For example I might focus on shopping and meal planning in January. Making extra cash in Feb. Healthy eating in March. Exercise in April etc. Keeps things fresh and works much better than doing it all in Jan!!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
