    Debt-free and Proud!
Great news about starting the new job, hope you find it a bit better than the old one. My boss is in an all day meeting today and I've got a long weekend so I am enjoying some MSE-time at work too :D

I would totally agree with the loving spending time on here, there are so many threads and discussions I want to follow but it would be a full-time job in itself! I'm sure NYE would be lovely on here...I am going to try and persuade OH we should go to Inverness for the night. I've never been and I've found a hostel for £15 each so it might be quite good fun...fingers crossed he's up for it.

My sister is like you with all the pretty ribbons and stuff, her presents always look fab whereas mine look crap by comparison! Hope you enjoy the wrapping xx

Really glad your enjoying your first day in the new office. And yes party will be good. There is nothing to stop us having a glass of wine (or diet coke for me as i dont drink) or 2 whilst were on here. Sounds perfect to me - plus we can sit in our jim jams rather than going out in the cold then fighting to get to the bar through crowds of people

hmmm Don't know what's wrong with me lately, am shattered and really grumpy! Poor OH. I don't know whether it is because he has been home for so long, and I'm not used to him being around or whether I'm just grumpy because I'm tired?

And bless him he tries his hardest but occassionally he just annoys me. Like now he's deliberately waited until I got home from work to have a shower...... now this is probably in the hope that I will join him, and even though I know this I just think, ahhhh to be honest I can't be bothered....... And I just feel really bad about it....... Can't be nice for him to have a grumpy fiance who just says no all the time........ am I just a meany??

I just feel a bit deflated...... and that I haven't really got a goal or purpose workwise at the moment..... which isnt the best feeling in the world..... hmmmmm think I'm just feeling a bit down.... by the way got a fricken parking ticket through!!!! I parked over my time limit admitedly but it was at 2300 at night!!!! go figure!!!!!

  • Hi Misssymoo, well done on new job. Havent been online / here for a while. I know what you mean about remaining focucussed. I try to set myself little targets and concentrate on one at a time. If you keep looking at the enormity of one's debt then it will just depress you.

morning... god knows why I'm up so early, me and OH didn't get to bed until about 3!! I might have to have a nap later! Have realised one of the reasons I am so tired during the week, I don't think I'm eating enough fruit and veg. I was trying not to go shopping and eat out of the cupboards, which is all good and well but fruit doesn't live in cupboards and I hadn't gone and got any!!

So did a small shop yesterday, going to have porridge for breaky a tuna or cheese sandwich for lunch, and meat and veg for dinner, and I have got apples, bananas and clementines for snacks....

    write more later

    Hi Missy

You may have a point about the fruit and veg. I feel really tired at the moment and I know my diet isn't good :o

    Hi Missy
It's quite usual to feel deflated when you suddenly get some of the things you've been waiting for. You're probably missing the stress from the old job!!
I also think it takes a while for your body to work through the stress so it might take a while to feel a bit better again. Hope things pick up soon.
I also go for all the ribbons and stuff when wrapping pressies
