Hi
Glad you're feeling better - I feel a bit better too
Off towrite a list and hope for motivation  Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
well I've just returned from my heroic expedition to tesco's, it really wasn't too bad, Ended up spending £87 which I know is a lot more than the £50 I budgetted for, but I did get all the bits for my stepmums hamper and my nephews birthday present, and a couple of other things I forgot on the list like sugar and honey, but I'm very pleased with my efforts a few weeks back that would have been hundreds of pounds and I wouldn't have thought a thing about it!!!! Yaaaaay to frugal missy!0

So far I haven't done anything except post a 'to do' list on my diary - and lie on the sofa

Have been thinking of how many things I have changed in my life in the last few weeks.
firstly am meal planning
have checked all prices on my supermarket to get the cheapest possible
have done a cupboard inventory, so I'm not buying stuff I've already got
turned the heating right down, its down at 15 degrees from 20. (not sure if this is low or not, I would be grateful if someone could advise.)
putting a jumper on when I'm cold
not buying any food from the teabar at work
driving super carefully (like driving miss daisy if I'm honest!!)
turning off any light that's not being used.
cancelling my gym membership
not buying looooaaaads of clothes on payday in fact so far not buying any
checking for coupons and voichers for the shopping
thinking of more personal less expensive presents for people for birthdays
not buying starbucks at every opportunity, in fact not buying it at all
staying in and not going out
cooking instead of going out for dinner or having take aways
not buying dvds or books
I don't think I'm doing too badly...... yaaaay0 -
