:rotfl:I guess it is a dirty word!!

Looking forward to your update. I need to update my budget too. It should be a bit better now as some of my bills have come down and I've cancelled my Lovefilm membership. Has meant more money to throw at debt!

Hope you have a good day at w*rk :D

ahhh still at work, would love to be going home now, bring on 17.15!!! Going to go to tesco on my way home and get my shopping (hopefully come in on my £50 budget) then I'm going to spend saturday making yummy meals for my meal plan. Also need to go to lakeland and get some pots to put the stuff in to go in the freezer, but have some pictures to take back so should cover it. On Sunday I'm going to wash the cars, usually I would have taken them to someone to clean for me, but not the new frugal missy, oh no..... I can do it myself for free!!!

As promised will update on budgets tonight.

    Keep smiling

helloooo, I'm home, didn't go to tesco, realised had deliberately left my bank card at home so I didn't spend any money.....!:rolleyes:!! And I forgot the coupons and the bags, so will go tomorrow as I have to go out and get the dishes for the freezer stuff anyway, and get my friend a present (on my OH's boots card :o)

I have a coupon for £8 off when you spend £80, now I only budgeted for food in my £50, I am intending on buying my nephews their winter coats for their birthday in there, and making a nivea hamper for my stepmum, so should spend the £80 but have lots of birthday presents magically hidden in the grocery budget :D.

mmmm am just eating a cheese and chutney sandwich and I have to say my chutney is quite nice!!!!!:T

Ok I need some advice on a couple of things...deodorant, as in roll on or stick..... which is the cheapest but is still good, don't want to be a big old sweaty betty now do I?! And dishes to freeze individual portions of things like shepherds pie and lasagne that can go straight in the oven??? What sort of dishes would you get?? Oh and lentils cheaper in aldi than in tesco, I'm not going to be able to get to an asian supermarket.

I haven't heard from my friend so I'm hoping she wants to cancel our shopping trip tomorrow, as I have so much I can be getting on with here and as per moneytroubles' post, I don't want to spend my time in changing rooms not buying anything .

will just finish my sandwich and post about my slight change in budget.

Shame about the Tesco shop- sounds like a potentially frugal weekend! I love cooking days- just made a soup so far today.

Deodorant- I use Impulse or Sanex which are probably expensive but I always try and get them on offer or in a cheap shop!

The dishes question is a difficult one. For individual portions I usually cook in my normal dish and then freeze in Lakeland Tuppaware container or freezer bag. For larger portion sizes I have some Tesco pyrex dishes that can go in freezer, oven and dishwasher.
As well as looking at whether they are freezer and ovenproof think about whether you use a dishwasher and also how well they will stack and fit in your freezer IMO.

And yes I do think my chutney tastes better as I made it.... oh no, not yummy wine in the shepherds pie..... atleast it made it taste yummy!!! Men can be so silly sometimes!!!!

Things have changed very slightly since I started this diary, I've been driving my OH's car for work and it was costing me £50 a week in diesel . But now I have my car from the garage the petrol is only seeming to cost about £35!!!! :D Which is a huge result, (am driving like miss daisy though!!) So thats a saving of £15 a week £60 a month!!!:T. Now I allowed myself £130 for spends, which was to include, any toiletries, birthdays, days out, nights out extra petrol usage.

Now as I've been finding this DFW stuff hard to stomach sometimes especially now, after payday when everyone seems to be buying clothes etc and I'm not, Iand on I friday all I want to do is get a takeaway!!! (old habits die very hard)!!!! thought I could spend that extra £60 on me on clothes etc, But that's not very DFW of me.... so I'm going to put £130 spends and the £60 together which is £190, take away £50 and pay it straight on my loan, which leaves £140, now I will put £40 aside for clothes.... as I am finding not buying anything really hard (I used to spend hundreds a month!! Hence the loan, silly missy!!!!) Then £100 left for anything else, which some months I know I wont spend especially if OH is away I will pay straight of the debt........ I know that I need something like that £40 to look forward to and to keep me going both on the weightloss and my debt free journey..... I just feel really bad in having it for myself and not for my debt........:( But I know I would just feel miserable without an incentive like that........ ho hum don't really know what to do......
