Good morning.
Where is everybody?

I have a confession to make. Got on the scales and I have put on over half a stone since I stopped work and I wasn't skinny to start with.
Advice needed - do I join Slimming World just to get the books? Can't afford to keep going.

Hi bookie. I don't do the weekly meeting thing. I joined weight watchers online through quidco but that still works out at £20 for 3 months. It's working for me though because I really don't understand slimming world.

I think some of the girls here have done slimming world though and might have some books you could borrow. Or, there are always loads on ebay pretty cheap. I don't know how much it is to join slimming world though so might work out cheaper to do it that way.

Sorry, that wasn't much help was it :)

Thanks Toto - it is £9.50 for the 1st week.
I have all the WW books so I suppose I should really do that again. Heard so much good about SW though that I thought it would make a change.
Must do something about it one way or the other.:o

    Morning all! :D

Monday and I have left my coffee at home  Noooooo

Bookie could you try writing down what you are eating in a book and then looking over it at the end of the week - you should find the stuff you need to cut down on then??

I need to cut down on everything !
    I'm eating cos I'm bored.
  • morning campers!

i am full of the joys, lovely evening out for something to eat with golferman and then stayed at his, got up at silly o'clock cause he was working so i went home, picked up change of clothes, swimming gear and have had a wee swim before work! i am gonna need matches to keep my eyes open by about half past ten tho!

Bookie - you're a smart woman and you know that too much of certain things is what's caused this gain, you know what you need to cut back on really... you don't need a book to tell you.... lotsa fruit n veg, low carb high protein is best... everything else in moderation or if you can't do that (i don't do moderation!) then cut it out completely for a while...
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

  • Morning all :T been up for a fair while doing 'stuff'. Feel yuk today because its totm, again  I fear it will become common now... Anyways off to work soon, alone again, but hey its a job and I have tommorow off. More wrapping of ebay parcels tonight etc etc but thats about it for me. Oh and I am going to see if i can budget in a movie marathon on my week off before my proper holiday. There are 3 movies I would like to see that are all released friday

Bookie, good luck with whatever plan/diet you decided to follow. As long as you are in the right place you will lose weight. Take care of yourself though :D
