It would almost be a shame to eat them.

Don't worry, that's not going to happen! They're going to sit in my kitchen gathering dust!

I've also got to make my dad's birthday cake, and one for the school MacMillan coffee morning on Friday if possible.
Are they going to have handbags on? They are brilliant, I would like the red handbag please if you ever make me a cake :D

Hope you feel better soon Lil_me

Well done Michelle for doing some more flying – it always amazes me how much I can get done in a short time too!

I have a question: what is the difference between cleaning the loo/sink/bath and s&s ing them? Sorry to ask such a dumb question, but I really don't know :o

And a joke to finish with:how many men does it take to change a loo roll? We don't know, it's never happened

Rose, when i S & S the bathroom i just wipe the bath, sink & toilet over with a damp cloth. When i clean it i spray it with diluted stardrops and give it a good scrub.

    Evening

Well I made a start on the list but yet another carp day in the kaz household although I appreciate our probs are only small compared to some peoples.

Thanks to all who send good luck and +ve vibes but DH failed his assessments today so we are back in the situation of not knowing whether he has a job. He is devastated as he knew all his theory but they set him up for a fall and he didnt see it coming. They failed him on a couple of things in his scenarios, he was checking his kit and there was so much stuff missing that after 20 mins they said to him just assume its there and then picked him up for not having a steth to listen to chest sounds !!!!!!. They also picked him up on his intubation one for laying his kit out on the floor of the training room (which they did every day in training over the last month) and said it were real life it would be contaminated !!!!!! and the last was they set up a scenario with a defib in a corner with no room to move and failed him for leaning over the casualty to press the button on the defib as it was dangerous. Mmmm now that would hold up in court wouldnt it, sorry he was in VF but I couldnt shock him as it would have been too dangerous for me to lean over him! or what.

Sorry rant over its just all a bit of a shock again and we dont know where we're at.

I did have a bit of a read of the thread at work :o so I know there are some new peeps but I cant remember names but welcome or welcome back, and I know there were a few people dealing with OH's/DH's with depression. Massive hugs to you guys as I know how hard it is to live withone who suffers. It will take me all my strength to keep my DH from falling into the black hole.

and had a chat with DS about bits and pieces. I am so lucky to have a lovely lad like him - he told his form teacher today that he didnt want to go too far away for uni as he didnt want to be far away from his mum :rotfl: love him. And and my poor DD (who I love dearly but just dont seem to get on with as I'm "too strict") and I had a massive row over the fact I spent 2 hours cleaning the living room on Saturday and now there is her stuff AND breakfast cereal all over the furniture and floor. I wouldnt mind so much but she has been told soo many times that she is not allowed food in there. She just doesnt care

Anyway this isnt get my bills paid online. Will try and pop in again tomorrow

Greenbee - those cakes are fantastic:T

Managed a mini blitz of the kitchen when I finally got home tonight, not enough for a star but better than nothing.

The lounge looks like a bomb has hit it cos DS took our old settee yesterday - it was over 10 years old and we have a new one on order for November so thought it would be a good idea to move it while we had the transit from moving Ashia. I now have to get the room ready, we have the paint from when Greenbee sent the B&Q vouchers but haven't started yet - need to pull finger out methinks.

    Night all.

We were talking about that on the course... I think they're going to look into a design for one as a large cake rather than a small sugarpaste model (they're 100% icing, with no cake inside sadly, but it does mean they'll last forever!).

    (((hugs))) kazm

tooch... (and anyone else who is interested)... this book is a good place to start, but if you can find somewhere local for classes (e.g. sugarcraft guild/evening classes etc) it will help as you can learn a lot of techniques that make it easier

DW emptied & refilled  Soup sieved (in magimix) and frozen. Roasted veggies frozen, apple & blackberry frozen.

Suppose I should go to bed...
