well today I got some yeast had buy on line
I have only have used dried yeast before thought give it ago
I made 1 big loaf and 5 rolls wow they rose so much more than dried yeast:j
I used 1oz can any body tell me how much I should use for diff things
sorry to sound stupid ive just never used it before
can I use it in any cooking that needs yeast?
and how much would I use if the recipe said 1 tbsp. of dried yeast

Was it fresh yeast? I'm sure someone will be able to answer. Where did you get it from? I thought you could only get it for free from a supermarket bakery, but maybe they don't do that anymore. Any idea anyone?Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Supermarket bakeries will still give you a bit of fresh yeast if you ask. I've always been charged about 10p for enough to bake a large loaf.Saving for deposit: Finished! :j
