I have used one sachet for two loaves before.
On the first proving, let it all prove together.
And on the second proving separate into the loaf tins.
If you know what I mean
But normally, I make one loaf, and use one sachet.0 -
One sachet should do about 750g of bread flour, white or wholemeal, if that helps.

This is the recipe that i use originally posted by Catowen. Its in the cookery collection under carrot cake made in school. I have never tried the topping but the cake is scrummy.
8oz s/r flour,
1/2 tsp ground mixed spice,
5oz soft dark brown sugar,
5 oz carrots, grated,
2 eggs,
1/4 pt corn or sunflower oil,
2 tbsp milk.
180C - 40 mins, oblong tin, just mix all ingredients together, then bake!
Topping -
2oz butter, softened,
8oz icing sugar.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19
