To be honest it's more hoping than gut instinct lol! I have had really powerful Braxton Hicks all the the way through - no 3 for me so I think it's normal although didn't get them at all with DS1 or DS2. But they are really powerful now, and every time I get one I keep thinking - c'mon on hurt damn you lol! Because the Braxton Hicks actually don't hurt at all, so I would welcome twinges!
Having said that I've done a hypnobirthing course and am having a home water birth so no one is even allowed to even mention pain lol to me.
Made the mistake of looking at the birth stories on MSE the other day - totally agree they are horrible! I've actually had 2 really easy 6 hour labours in hospital to date, will be sure to update the stories with all 3 of mine once this little one is here to balance them out!0 -
Always - there the nappies we will be using, I really liked the idea of them and MIL works at a nursery and says there one of her fave nappies, even tho not pretty they do the job. Luckily she wants to buy them for us too so work out well as she prefers them. Oh and yeay for finally exchanging
EA - I personally only ever except paypal, it just seems logical!
MrsI - I love cheesecake and have munched thru several hehe, not ever seen it listed as a must avoid food tho, so just aswell.
For those talking about scans, we are requested to have an empty bladder for ours and have had some good pics still. All through IVF treatment it was empty bladder too, except for transfer day and then it was partially full.
Well having issues with fur ball trying to get at his stitches, vet is insisting he wears a buster collar (lampshade thingy) when we aren't around. But he just keeps getting it off and cant figure a safe way to get it to stay on. Not to mention its a real fuss getting it on and then he seems really distressed by it and wont eat or drink. But am really worried about his wound getting infected, all these PG hormones are getting me real upset too, havent slept the last 2 nights and am all over the place now. Dont think OH gets it either
Sorry if I missed anyone/thing important out, havent managed to read all the way back , but need to head to bed am so tired. Labour vibes to those in need and stay puts for PP xxxBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Also was once told of someone using a suspender belt round the dog clipped on to the collar, no idea if it was true but desperate times and all that lol HTH a bit atleast[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Thanks 32b the collar we have for him already came with the loops and straping to tie it on. He just wont settle with it on and he wont sit let alone lie down. He wont touch his water and everytime whe walks into something he gets scared at the sound. He cant do the stairs in it either and nearly took a tumble, all he does is cry or thrash about trying to get it off. Looks like am heading for a 3rd night of no sleep and just can't stop crying, I dont know what to do. OH just told me to be an adult about it and went to bed, no help!Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Morning ladies,
I'm on my way to my last day in work! So glad to be finishing now, I keep telling belly monkey shes only allowed to be 1 week early if at all as I'm shattered and would really like a few days rest first. Although my best friend turns 30 on Monday and has had a crappy year and keeps telling me it'd be the best pressie ever if I have her on the 2nd. My parents are coming from abroad tomorrow too for 'about a month!' no set time on how long their staying but we have asked that this time they dont stay at ours the whole time so their splitting nights between relatives. My mums so excited as its the first grandchild and ive only seen them for 3 visits since my BFP.
32B I think your coping amazingly with your sister, it'd be hard enough at any time but with all the pg hormones too your doing a great job. I'm sure she'll be really proud to have you looking out for her.
Som hope your fur ball gets better soon x
Helen huge labour vibes, come on little man your eviction notice has been issued!
Hope everyone has a good day and once my ML starts on Monday I might have half a chance of keeping up with the thread!Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Well have had next to no sleep and have woken feeling awful, my emotions are in tatters and I just want to cry constantly. I gave in and took of the dogs collar in the end and let him sleep by my bed so I could keep an eye on him. Ended up I would wake at the sound of him licking and shout at him then he'd stop and we'd go back to sleep. He's not touched it this am but am supposed to be at work all day and OH has already left. I text boss to see if I can go into work once OH is home at 12 and make up my hours that way I can sort my self out and watch the dog. I look awful and if they weren't regular coulou you'd think I had black eyes ther so puffy. I'm worried too all this is not doing baby any good
Sorry for the me posts but I really dont know what to do.
Boo - have a good last day at work, and I hope the rents aren't an issue xxBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2
