  • Three - I know how you feel, I constantly have to question if I'm being over-sensitive, but from what you've written, it really doesn't sound like you're over-reacting - I would be p!ssed off too.

Lol, the threesome emoticon makes me giggle. But i know you didn't mean in that way JHA, it's just my immaturity showing through.:D

Well GISI count yourself lucky you have been able to have ''action'' - MW advised me and OH abstain from the deed for a good two months at least:eek: due to the bleeds. :(

I am hardly coping having been a month already, so two more to go...god knows how OH is coping :p It is really tough to resist the urge to pounce on him, lol!:D

we haven't dtd since april:eek: (conception month) due to bleeds then oh didnt want to "hurt" the baby. as i am 30 weeks the eviction plan has been started so oh will just have to get on with it:rotfl:

Huge hugs three such incompetent B*****s:mad:

I have some friends that are nurse ones actually a MW but in Ireland(mmm must check ferry prices lol) so it's not like i hate them, I have had some great nurses on general wards too one when OH was really ill and all it took her was 30 seconds to help me, 5 for an idiot to ruin it again though lol

Just wish i didn't need to meet the bad ones when PG. I take back what i said about the male nurses they may be a bit strange(seems less strange now) but they took the time and moved when needed.

  • I have to mention, when I had my daughter I didn't feel very comfortable when a male midwife turned up at my house. I was struggling to breast feed at the time and there was NO way I was going to go into details and show him the problems. I felt like I was probably doing damage to equal opportunities everywhere (which I normally am all in favour of), but I ended up asking him to leave.

On a good note i got 2 pairs of maternity trousers but i haven't tried them on. frightened that i may burst into tears and not recover for the rest of the night if i don't like them.
    What am i like :rotfl:
Waiting on a take away for dinner as i just cant face shopping or cooking anything so i'm pulling the pg card and ordering in. now what to have:rolleyes:

Dont quite think i would be comfortable with the breast feeding either. But sometimes i think the guys are more sympathetic to a women needs(sound like a modern man book lol). It was a male nurse that done my sisters hair in hospital the female ones just put a bobble in with no effort. Good and bad for both i suppose!

my 2nd DS i had a trainee male midwife deliver him , i didntmind one bit , as long as he did hes job and got my baby out safely, which he did 8lb 4oz and 3 hours after waters breaking no tears just a little grazed inside , was a good job.

just had my indian and omg it was lush , went down really nice , i even finished what the 2 men didnt eat , god i am a pig
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec
  • Oh JHA i don't think i could cope that long :( Maybe i will but we'll see...i'll def make it past the next appointment though, jus so i can ask if i can. Lol at having to ask MW permission for me and oh to DTD :D

I personally wouldn't mind a male doctor or midwife while i'm in the throes of labour - i had a few male doctors checking me throughout and it didn't bother me too much. I think once i am back home and BF i would mind though - i don't know why, i just would feel it was a little inapropriate (even though it's not if they know what they are doing) just wouldn't want to demo everything to a man and ask what i am doing wrong

Male nurses in general are pretty nice ( and they actually listen to you in my experience) though - i do agree!

Nikkit - I would love an indian but OH hate curry so i can never order out unless i order £15 worth of stuff for me :D

Kindof - Have a little lie down and he might start jumping about :D I find that Lily only really kicks when im sat down, i imagine its less space for her to move about freely lol.

Just watched Charmed, and im sat here crying my eyes out lol. It was a very sad episode :(

Off to bed now, have an early shift at work tomorrow :(

    Night! x
