I havent had any proper kicks for days now, I think I have felt him move though
Aww try not to worry :grouphug: i know everyone raves about diet coke but can you have some lucozade, lie on your left and just relax, maybe your placenta is at the front making it harder to feel bubs, i could turn a baby at 20 weeks by carefully walking up and down stairs a few times, hands and knees (i havent got a fixation with this:p) or a warm bath might help HTH0 -
Well i can't wait for today to be over, it's been bad. Had to bar myself from pen and paper as i was so tempted to complain to anyone i thought would give a !!!!!!.
To start i had to call the hospital for my appointment for my 28 week jag and i got a right ckeeky MW, i'm not looking forward to labor if thats what the MW are like.
In my best voice as you do lol i asked what the precedure was for the jag as i will be 27 weeks on sunday and i have heard nothing and the postal strikes may have delayed any letter, She asked me what made me think i was to get one if i had not recieved one as not everyone gets it. I told her it was not my first and i had the results but no appointment and that it was the CMW who told me to check for the anti-d and the diabetes test as both are on my notes but no appointment time. She then tells me she will need to transfer me as she dosen't deal with appointments
So i get transferred through and it's pretty much the same,
Have you not got an appointment
No just got the results but no appointment,
Thats starange you should have.you have an ANC appointment that must be it,
For the 24th
No the 10th
I was not told of any appointment on the 10th
It will be in your record under appointments
I only have one for a scan etc on the 24th
Did the CMW not book it
No she said i had to call as i'm high risk she won't see me
Well someone has made this appointment for something.
Will that be for the diabetes test too
I don't know it's just ANC nothing is noted/
So i have an appointment on the 10th at 3.30 but no idea what for can only assume it's anti-d. But if it's the diabetics one i thought you were ment to fast??
so much for helping your pregnancy
Then i went to see sis in the hospital and i honestly want to complain about two of the nurses one for the way she spoke to mum then me. read on if you want skip if not in the mood for pg ranting.
sis was sick into her breathing tube and was choking and we couldn't find her nurse despite shouting that she was choking and turning red and the tube was blocked with it all. so we stopped a nurse and doctor that was pacing they said they weren't from ICU and asked the nurse next to her to help. She said yes in a minute By this time the machines were all bleeping as her heart raced and her oxygen dropped so mum and i shouted again i looked at mum and seen her looking shocked but not at my sis so i turned to see what it was, the nurse the doc had asked to help was preparing a bed bath.
Mum shouted again and the nurse walked up and said Oh she's coughed into her tube so i said no she was sick she lurched in the motion and it came up the tube(i've seen her cough it up loads of times this was different) and she said no she done that earlier. Now at a normal pace not rushing she changed her apron and looked for her size gloves and put them on,Now i accept that they need to be changed etc but she made no effort and my sis was barely breathing and the sick was going up and down the tube and out her mouth.
Mum asked the nurse why that happened and the nurse said because she keeps talking so mum said but she cant talk and the nurse said thats not what i meant i meant trying to talk, I said as a joke sorry she takes what you's say exactly to the letter and the nurse turned round and said to me take what excatly what don't you get she cant talk thats what i said your mum miss heard what i meant
SO later dad came in when mum went out and i was telling him what happened as her nurse(who had reappeared)was talking to someone else and she asked what the problem was i told her nothing and she said obviously their was i said no i was just telling dad as he had asked what sis was trying to write. She says we all have to work together if their is a problem it gets dealt with i wasn't here so i wouldn't know what happened.
I bit my tongue at that because they are obviously not into their privacy if they are so willing to openly exploit a private conversation regardless of it's content in front of other nurses. Not to mention as she admitted herself she was not their to pass an opinion at anything i said in private to my dad. both nurses where confrontational when i was not even asking a dirrect question seems their rudeness and aggression clauses only go for visitors. I will no doubt calm down tomorrow but tonight on 2 occasions the nurse disappeared for 30min and we did not know who to go to and you feel carp getting a nurse from somewhere else.
off to catch up and hopefully feel better then may delete the message when i have had time to process it.
Sorry for the whooper of a post:rolleyes:

my bubs had been quiet for about 3 days , then this evening in the bath he did an almighty kick , i did call the MW and she explained sometimes the baby will move around and you find hardly any movements for a while and the reson being hes feet is facing towards your back , so he is moving around just inwards rather than outwards , dont worry to much it will start up again, do you have a doppler just so you can listen to HB ? if not another way is to have a fairly warm bath and cover your belly and move your belly around and then all of a sudden you may get flutters , i was actually really weird until i called my MW this morning,
HTH,
Oh well saturday again tomorrow , i hope OH kids arent funny again and dont come round i dont think i couuld cope with another argument over my DD , i am so emotional yesterday and today just cry at everything,
Oh benidorm on , yay love it , waiting for indian to be delivered , OH has m8 over playing computer games and beer and takeaway , and i watch tv with my kitty and laptop , DD gone to friends to watch fireworks , nom nom nom poppadoms and naan bread and jalfrezzi , i cant wait , they said hour and half for deliveryDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -
Lol, the threesome emoticon makes me giggle. But i know you didn't mean in that way JHA, it's just my immaturity showing through.:D
Well GISI count yourself lucky you have been able to have ''action'' - MW advised me and OH abstain from the deed for a good two months at least:eek: due to the bleeds.
I am hardly coping having been a month already, so two more to go...god knows how OH is coping:p It is really tough to resist the urge to pounce on him, lol!:D

Hi - I'm sending hugs Three - I can only imagine the !!!!!! you're going through at the moment, and this sort of rubbish doesn't help. It's terribly when you're so reliant on medical professionals and they act like you're less than human (we went through it to a lesser degree when my Grandad declined and eventually died). I'm so sorry you having to deal with such crap.

Wow - Three, that is ridiculous. I am so angry for you! I really am speechless...so i know it'll be hard but i am wishing you a good nights rest and praying for a better day for tomorrow for you. It drives me nuts when nurses talk to you like you are stupid, especially when they are so clearly wrong. Some of them think they know it all, but really they are just arrogant moos - i have had some bad dealings with ar*sy nurses too so i know how it makes your blood boil.Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0
