Have tried 3 times over the last few days to get to the end of the thread, ending up saying thanks to lots of people but never commenting on here lol.
Congrats to all the latest arrivals!
How scary to be so near the top of the list, cannot wait. 12 days until she is due. Am SO hoping she comes early :-) My other 2 were both on time (unusual I know), but then they were boys lol.
I'm also taking RLT capsules as the taste is too strong for me to drink loads.0 -
Hi All, haven't had time to catch up, still getting used to having a baby around and having to adjust to her patterns. Note for nappy buyers - Pampers have really not worked for Erin, every time we have used them they have leaked whereas Huggies and Sainsburys own have been great (Huggies being the best).
I looked at the EDD list and saw Fidget was still on there, didn't she have a date for induction??
Also Helen was still on there so labour vibes to Helen.
Any other news I have missed? Should really be moving over to the parents thread but not quite ready yet :rotfl:.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Hey all,
Just checking in, this cold is destroying me. Tried to spend the day with OH at his work but he sent me home after 2 hours because I was ill. He said he thought I was going to faint because I went really pale and shakey so he got someone to walk me home as he was so worried. Bless him.
After a nap on the sofa I`ve been watching The event on channel 4 about how racist people are, its really good if anyone here is bored I recommend a watch.

I'm planning on texting people and updating my facebook to say "Welcome to new baby xxx, born today at xx:xx - visitors welcomed in a few days time!" - could try that?0 -
I found with DS that i didn't mind having the visitors early-ish cos i was full of energy for the first few days with adrenaline, it's when the tiredness kicked in a few days later that i couldn't be ar*ed with people
You tend to find people aren't as intrusive as you expect them to be, which restores your faith a little lol.0 -

I've been really upfront with everyone and said no visitors until I invite people and also had to tell mum and dad that they can only day visit (they live 100 miles away). My OH would simply flip out sharing the initial time with anyone else (he is grumpy about visitors at the best of times!)
Of course, if I end up having C section, I'll probably be crying out for help from parents!0 -

Welcome, this thread is ace at helping you keep sane over the coming weeks. It moves lightening fast, I can never keep up but everyone is helpful, supportive and friendly. Yummy Domino's, wish we had one here, they are almost elusive as epidural availability in cumbrian hospitals!0
