Well, I survived the in-laws but only just. I swear they get training in winding us up!
Have persuaded OH that I need a takeaway to make up for the trauma of it, so a curry is winging it's way to chez GISI as I type.
Fidget- not much to add to what others have said, except to send you hugs. Am I right in thinking that you will be 9 days over when they want to induce? Could you not go in but plead for a sweep instead if induction as you are still well shy of the 14 days that they usually allow?
Beenie- sorry your DS is poorly. Not trying to be dismissive, but there do seem to be some horrid winter viruses around at the moment so could be one of those rather than full-blown 'flu.
Sending lots of labour vibes to Fidget, Helen, Karen and anyone else who's loooking for them. My little one remains so active- no sign of any slow down here!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Fidget i was just going to suggest this but couldn't word it - thanks gisi.
Can your oh call the hosp and cancel the induction based on the information you have been given about having to be on your own and request a series of sweeps instead. Surley they will have to consider induction on day 14 or just before anywayI know you are under serious stress with regards to your spd / pain and your lo being upset but could you handle a few more days just to be able to have the labour you want (at home untill you want to go in)?

Gisi thanks this is what i'm hoping too. I mentioned swine flu and he wasn't impressed cos he thinks it kills everyone thanks to the news lol!! I told him he's just got a bug though but he might need some medicine. He said that's fine as long as it's not horrible and not tablets (does tamiflu come in liquid form?)
But i'm gonna hold out for now, not doing anything tonight at least. Will see how he goes! (but i know if it's swine then you should take tamiflu soon?) I've got no symptoms (yet).0 -
Tamiflu is tablets I am afraid
but you prob break up the tablets into powder?

I really want one of these! I actually think I might order one while they've got them for £40......hmmm, decisions, decisions.
My curry was amazing...slightly spicier than usual even though I ordered the same thing. Hope it gets baby moving in the right direction.
EA- I think that size mattress sounds fine. I think my moses mattress is a cm or so shorter than the original one but it fits fine.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
