I'm pretty sure kids have the liquid form (might even be a different drug to Tamiflu baby brain has made me forget!)

Just catching up still but wanted to thank Glam for posting these pics, thats really helped me make up my mind, I def need to get me one :D Jack looks so comfy and cute.

Glad you saw my PM! I went to town today and loads of people stare cos it's so different! Much easier than pushing a pram around the shops!
My back does hurt a bit but I wore heels and was out for a good few hours!

I picked up that half price mattress today from babies r us - they do do them in store as well as online!

Right am all cought up from today but still need to read thru the wekends posts!

Beenie - so sorry to here about your car, I dread ours going in! Hope your son gets better soon xx

Glam - Good to know your back didn't hurt too much after, I dont generally wear heels so shouldn't be an issue for me. Oh and woot for the half price matress :D

PP - yeay for getting the wardrobe up and your lil helpers hehe.

Fidget - big, huge, moo hoosive, fat labour vibes for you xxx Oh and a great big boo and hiss for the missery of a MW! Hope you get your sweep or go naturely xx

On the subject of sleeping arrangements, my LO is going straight into her cot. We just have room for one in our room and I dont see the point in buying either a crib or moses basket plus all the bedding for it to be used for such a short time, not very MSE imo. Have bought a travel cot for the living room tho, and plan on using the sleep curve matress on that for her during the day. As for visiting we have the carry cot for the PC, so hopefully all that will work out for us.

Mum gave me my first bit of advivce at the weekend, hehe. she said not to tip toe about baby and make my usual noise and let her adjust to it or her sleeping will be a nightmare! Sounds sensible to me.

Furr baby going for the chop tomorrow :( feel really sad for him loosing his bits but hopefully will be for the best. Had to take his food up at 8 and he keeps looking for it. Am a lil worried and will be odd being home on my own tomorrow while he is at vets, not sure how am gonna take my mind off him.

On the plus we have our 22 week (anoimoly) scan tomorrow after I drop him off :) Loooking forward to seeing baby girl again and getting another confirmation of her being a her, and seeing how she is growing. Hopefully have some new pics too :D

  • Oh dear, My OH has just come home early from the football because he's poorly.
He has the works bit hot, sore throat and cough, congestion headache, sneezing and he says he aches and came over a bit faint which is why he came home.
He doesn't look good poor lamb. I've tucked him into bed with a bottle of cold water and he's already asleep and snoring (something he only does when poorly).
I`m guessing that I`m gonna start in the next few days. BOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • Oh poor hubbie - hun, time for the ridiculous dosing up of orange juice - pure squeezed is best. If it doesn't stop you from getting it, it should at least stop it hitting so hard.

Since i hate taking meds it's the one thing i do if someone near me is poorly. My late nans advice ;)

  • Thanks for the tip I`ll stock up in the morning!!!
I'm trying to see if I can have soothers or lockets as well, I might ask in boots chemist tomo. I know paracetamol is safe, but that doesnt really help lol
I have honey and lemon though I can make soothing drinks, and plenty of peppermint tea.

the boots linctus medicines are safe for use in pregnancy as well - I've got the honey, lemon and glycerine one and they do a blackcurrant as well. I don't know how much they really help but they taste nice lol. (they specifically say on back that they're fine in pregnancy)

I feel better tonight than I have for weeks - at 13 + 2 hopefully I'm nearing the end of of my morning (evening in my case!) sickness! Just need my skin to follow suit and sort itself out. Did anyone else find that they got more spots than they did as a teenager???
