Kind of I have a thick sleep suit and thick home made cardi it and a hat and mitten/socks for bumpers hands. We have evrything at my nans house so we will need to go and make a list but I every week and it seems like we have quite a bit seeing as we dont know the flavourDarling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j0 -
Afternoon
Merfe & Jopsey hope all's gone well today, xx
Elasti I think it's the curse of the MIL, they're all a pain in the bum
Redmel our baby could be one of many names yet! We totally loved Eliot and still do, but can't help tossing up lots of other names, contenders at the minute are Jude, Alexander, Roman, Tobin/Tobias/Toby, and my new favourite, Gene (OH thinks this is a ridiculous suggestion :rotfl:). Ooh another one my dad suggested today that i like, Arthur, not asked OH yet...got a lot of sentimental value to me though so he better not dislike it& the middle name is decided already - bit of a weird one but a family name so being used irregardless
Ooh & another one that popped up today, Charlie - it was my dads nickname when he was little, but OH's sis was going to use this if she had a boy, so not sure if it'd be stepping on their toes? Names are my favourite subject, can you tell?
Kindof what a lovely pic - your dress is gorgeousRe sleeping bags, I've not got a clue, I've got a couple in 'summer' weight not sure what tog that means, but will just be using those at first and if it's cold putting him a sleepsuit on. Clothes wise, you have loads more than us
My plan was to get 7 vests for each age group - then wash every 3rd/4th day, he presently has maybe 6 sleepsuits in 0-3, planning to get a few more so maybe 8/9? Then get proper clothes when he's a bit older, I've bought a few bits in 6-9 already, polo shirts etc, and will just buy the next sizes whenever I see bargains I think?
Always I adore the name Thomas, it's a real 'proper' name IYKWIM? It's one of my dads middle names and we did consider it, but a friend of mine used it and although it's a rarity that I see her, seems a bit weird to use it?!
Ooh Aless I love Rueben & Flynn
Fidget your story about the hospital woman had me laughing to myself! Though also cr&pping myself, the hospital I'm supposed to be going to is full of that kinda character, only most of them are only about 12  A while ago when we went we heard a young lad of about 14/15 shouting loudly to what we assume was his MIL to wait because his labouring girlfriend was having a 'complexion'...:o This was whilst they were outside having their last cigarette (hopefully) before she gave birth!!
Well done WeezlLet's see if you get addicted!
Well I've had a tidy up of baby bits and have quite a lot of newborn/0-3 bits, plus a baby chair, bottle warmer, steriliser, sleeping bags and nappies! More than I realisedWaiting on lots of random bits from eBay at the moment to add to the pile too
Debate of the moment in our house is when to buy the furniture, think we're decided on the set we want, but not sure when you're meant to order? It's from Mamas & Papas - anyone know how long it takes them to deliver usually? I'm in no great rush, actually don't want to set the nursery up here as hoping to have moved before he turns 6 months so in my opinion a waste of time, but OH is having none of it. Apparently the set of cheap plastic drawers that's housing his stuff at the minute is not good enough for his son
Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Bid on that one, its really cheap! I think I paid about £10 for it new? Mini mode stuff seems to wash really well too, I work opposite a boots so have ended up buying quite a bit of their stuff and everythings washed lovely and not gone mishapen. Some bits Ive bought from other places look like they've been washed loads after one wash!Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0

 boogleyboo

I love how we totally spell Elliot differently lol I cant get my head around if I want to spell it Elliot or Elliott?
Thank you very much, I was sooooo scared lol, I found out for sure that morning we were pregnant, and I had a speech to do and I hate talking in public lol
Ok cool I did have a list somewhere that tells you how many blankets and sleepsuits or sleeping bags and sleepsuits you need depending on the weather, It might tell me on there about togsWe only have that many clothes cos most of them were donated to us lol all the 3-6 months were given to us, all we have bought so far is a bundle on ebay of 16 things for 0-3 and some vests lol, I am watching a sleepsuit bundle of 8 so if I win that then I think I am done for now lol (actually no we need sleepsuits for 3-6, ohhhhhhh a brand new mega asda just opened today I might go there with OH once he is in from work and have a look at the clothes)
I wasnt planning on dressing him during the day I was just going to have him wear sleepsuits but we got given clothes and them the ebay bundle was too cute to resist lol
We are getting the furniture next monthElliot's room is nearly emptied and just needs painting
