Here is the clothes I have, can you help?
0-3 Months
25 x short sleeved vests
4 x Long Sleeve Vests
2 x Pairs of socks
2 x Hats
3 x Bibs
9 x Tshirts
4 x Dungarees
4 x Trousers
1 x Hoodie
1 x Jeans
3 x Cotton Shorts
2 x Sleepsuits
3 - 6 Months
3 x Dungarees
2 x Vests
1 x Hoodie
10 x Tshirts
1 x Jean Shorts
1 x Cardigan
3 x Sleepsuits
1 x Cotton Shorts
Ok thats what I have got so far ... I seem to have a lot of vests for 0-3 months, do you think I have enough clothes for 0 - 3 months APART from sleepsuits, I know I need more of them, how many sleepsuits do you reckon I need?
And I totally need some vests and sleepsuits for 3-6 months
Would you guys buy for beyond 6 months yet?
Thanks
Hi Kindof....I would say you are doing really well. I would say you need another 6 sleepsuits, another 5 pairs of socks, and another 8-10 bibs (or more depending how sicky baby is).
I would probably only buy 6mths+ if you see any bargains in the sales...and maybe only things like socks/vests/sleepsuits/t-shirts that could be worn no matter what the weather. I notice you haven't got scratch mits, I never bothered with them and most mums agreed that they were always to loose around the wrist and constantly fell off. If you did want any however, I would say the boots mini mode ones were the best fitting ones I ever came across.

Oh Gymfiend - I love Gene! I suggested this to OH but then my preg guilty pleasure has been Gene Hunt from Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes. Not sure it goes with my surname though!0

My OH is self employed and runs his own shop selling games and consoles etc. Whenever I moan about lack of attention etc he says he is just doing his homework or making crucial game reviews lol.

Aww Fidget, hopefully Weezl will be along to interpret your medical language - she seems so good at that sort of thing! Glad you're happy about your induction, but of course we'll keep our fingers crossed you go naturally before then to reduce hospital time! Big hugs...also, I found Caelan on some website when looking at the Irish names section...not sure what it means, I just like the sound!
I like the name Caleb too. Someone my OH works with called their baby son Caleb and I think it is so cute!kindofagilr wrote: »How do you do a Chocolate slab?

Are you planning on getting any newborn stuff? I think you might want a few bits as although it won't last baby long, 0-3 stuff might swamp him to start off with.
I'm thinking 0-3 will be March to June-ish for you, so you might also want a couple more cardis or jackets as it can still be quite chilly.
As others have said I'd go for more sleepsuits and more socks (although I think socks tend to be 0-6 months so they should last a while).
I keep wondering if I should get some bigger clothes too, but then I think I'll definitely want the fun of shopping for them when the time comes so will probably end up with too many......You are very well prepared
I'd say 5 sleepsuits cos it looks like you'l be dressing him in daytime outfits too.
As long as you do a load of laundry once every 4 days (which I think with a baby is hard to get out of!) and it'll dry in a day then you'll be fine
Wouldn't buy for 6 months yet. All fergie's stuff is the wrong season cos at nearly 8 months he's still in 3-6 months.
HTH
Guess what all? As a new ebay seller I had a purchase-yay! No-one went for the 14 item bundle deal strangely, but one little poloshirt went well :T:T
xxx
Yay for eBay sales :T! I'm always amazed what does sell and what doesn't. Also at car boot sales I always find the tat sells faster than the nicer stuff (not saying that your polo shirt was tat, of course, but you know what I mean).
PP- A bit late now, but I'm finding getting out the bath hard, so I tend to let the water drain out then get onto my knees and get up from there.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
