EA I nearly bought that outfit the other day :D If your near an asda they had some gorgeous purple shoes and boots to match. I ended up getting a knitted stripy romper in the same colours but they didnt have the shoes in the same age as the outfit.

I spent part of yesterday going all through belly monkeys clothes, she has way too much! Ive filled her wardrobe and drawers with newborn and 0-3 then packed all the 3-6, 6-9 and 9-12 month stuff in plastic crates to swap into as and when needed. In my defence my mum bought most of the older age group stuff in bundles off ebay, I dont think Id have bought that far ahead but some were too cute to resist :o And there are still 'a few' binbags at my sisters for my mum to bring next week  Im going to have to change her outfit every 5 minutes to get through half of them.

Fishcake its soo wrong to keep a preggie woman waiting for food! When you want something you want it NOW!

Haha i already have 2 draws and a wardrobe full of stuff, and thats just newborn and 0-3 months :D
Have been teling family to buy 3-6 months if they have to buy anything lol.

And i agree, it is wrong to keep a pregnant ladie waiting for food. I keep really upset if im kept waiting lol.

So anyway... IM ON MY NEW VIRGIN WIRELESS INTERNET!!! :D:D:D
And i found a whole section on the V+ box dedicated to pregnancy and birth etc :T

Someone keeps outbidding my mum on the crib i want on ebay, if they continue i will hunt them down and kill them, then take my crib back :rotfl:
  • always hope they hurry it up for you hun!!

Yay for wireless internet EA :D

I feel really sick my headache has come back and im sat here watching cbeebies not getting much done :o

FR they definitely should not let pregnant women wait! when I went for a meal with some friends someone actually went and asked if they would hurry up with the starter cause it was for her pregnant friend (me!) and they soon brought it out.

EA yay for winning on ebay. Hope your mum gets the crib for you. Better be careful about saying you'll hunt the other person down as it might be someone else on this thread!! lol

I just have two drawers of baby clothes newborn and 0-3 months. Plus a coat and snowsuit in the wardrobe. Now I am worried it won't be enough! Oh well DH can always nip to Tescos if necessary or I'll bundle LO up in blankets till I have done my washing! lol.

I am feeling tired now and could do with an afternoon nap but am visiting a friend at 1.30ish so don't really have time. Maybe a quick catnap..... ;)

Boogellyboo - if we don't hear from you we'll send out a search party (not that we know where you live.......!)

Oh and good news my sisters blood test is clear - yay :D

    Hiya Everyone,

Went to the hospital this morning and had an internal but no sweep (grr) the consultant is a man of few words so did not say too much. Though it is the second time he's asked me what operation had I had to create the scar on my stomach. I've never had one it was just where the band of my jeans had been and was wearing the same ones last time. I had a look in the mirror at it when I came home but it looks like an obvious mark from clothing not a scar - you would think being a consultant he would be able to tell the difference!

My mum drove me to the hospital and her nervy-unconfident driving had me getting lots of pains in my stomach by the time we got there. While I was on the couch waiting to be examined the pains were getting worse and together with the heat in the hospital I thought I was going to pass out. He didn't tell me if my cervix was dilated or anything but from his scrawly writing I think it says something like: "v/e v'v NAD cervix 1cm thick past as tip of finger vertex-1 start-"(?) If anyone knows what this means???

Anyway he booked me in for an induction on Thurs but I was gutted to read on the letter that the process could take several days:eek: and obviously partners have to go home and adhere to visiting hours as usual. I am obviously going to have to go and have a lie down and think some positive thoughts as the prospect of spending upto a week in hospital makes me feel very sick. I know I sound like a whinger and that I should be glad to have a fairly early date but I have a pathological fear of hozzies.

Oh and of course the pains stopped as soon as I got out of the hospital!

Hope Nancmat comes back on today with news of her little girl.

Good luck Jopsey for the test today x

Merfe - lots of luck for you today and sending the strongest sticky vibes I can x

Aless I was considering the name Caelan but I was convinced I'd made it up. I don't know where I got it from but I've never found it in a name book or search engine. I do like it alot but if we change baby's surname to OH's eventually then it will rhyme which would make it sound silly!

Lovely sleepsuit EA, I think I've seen that somewhere before too. Girl's clothes are so much cuter than boys IMO. Congratulations on gaining your Virginity today as well! x

Haven't a clue! Well, we've narrowed down our lists to 7 names of each sex and I plan on accosting hubby soon to knock that down to 3 each. The rejects will likely be used as middle names.

If I list them, people have to promise not to steal!! :D :rotfl:

Boys: Reuben, Niall, Kiran, Flynn, Caelan, Conlan, Kellan
Girls: Siobhan, Adele, Aine, Avaline, Siara, Roisin, Aislin(g)

(can you tell we really like Irish names?! :p)

    :Tabsouletly beautiful names:D

Aww Fidget sorry it didn't go well this morning for you. Glad you have an earlyish date but can see why you don't want to go in and be in hospital for several days if you hate hospitals. Fingers crossed that you go naturally before then.

lol EA I didn't think you would actually do it :) it would just be funny if one of us on here were outbidding you and making you annoyed - it definitely isn't me I have my cot :D

Kindof - scones are looking good. i asked DH last night if he wanted me to make scones but he was like " no thats okay" so i said what about sticky toffee pudding (that SJ put a link to) " no thats not really what I want" grrr will see if I cna find a basic sponge cake for cooking as he seems to want cake at the mo (and I can help him out - if there's any left by the time he gets home from work;) )
