Aw Nikkit, hugs to you hun. Try not to get yourself in a state, though I know it's easier said than done. Try to believe it will be ok - you won't be that 1%. Don't accept any fobbing off from your doctor, I don't think him giving you "I don't know I've never seen it before" type explanations is acceptable. It is completely understandable that you should worry.

MGEB - glad your little one enjoyed her ballet this week. I can completely sympathise with the tantrum in the middle of the room type horridness. I've got a "lovely" dvd of DD's class at school singing with their Easter bonnets on, all except DD who picks her nose for the first half and then has a tantrum and has to be taken off it on the second half as she's crying so much! You can laugh about it after but you could die of shame when it's happening!

Sorry you are having more bleeding hun hope that it turns out to be nothing and that things are ok for you next week - sticky vibes to you and Merfe.

GISI - I have a couple of names floating around my head and I feel that when the baby (finally) comes out he will look like one of them hopefully haha! I kind of did that with DD but I only had a shortlist of two and I let her dad pick which one he wanted, and she has always suited the one he picked perfectly. There are loads of girl's names I love but not many boy's names. I love Liam but it seems to be very popular with local chavs here (no offence to anyone who has a Liam!) Because I live in Merseyside (not Liverpool but close enough) I don't want anything that could be shortened in horrible way like Stephen is to Ste or Barry to Ba/Baz etc.

Last night, again, I had what felt like mild to moderate contractions for around 4 hours then I woke up again today and nothing! I didn't get that feeling though that they were going to lead somewhere. Why it's only in the evenings I do not know - it's very strange. One thing I got which was also weird was, when OH was trying to talk to me I couldn't concentrate on what he was saying and it was making me agitated also when anyone was singing or arguing on television it was making the pains feel worse iyswim.

Speaking of OH, he had a couple of bottles of cider while he was watching the telly as he often does on a Fri night, he was laughing at the telly and it felt like he was just having a normal Friday night in front of the telly while I was in pain and rocking on my ball. He kept trying to talk about mundane "funny" things from work and stuff he'd read on the net. It made me want to throttle him! Even though he'd only had 2 drinks it was like we were on totally different planets and it made me think it would be horrible if I was in labour and he was "not there" because he was a bit merry.

Not wanting to get into too much of a OH moan, a week or so ago I gave him the (one) job of charging up the camera and make sure it was in the labour bag. However, I was closing the curtains in the bedroom yesterday and I found it stuffed in the shelf on his bedside cabinet! There is no way that would have been remembered had I not seen it. Grr.

Fidget , , i remember my first baby and was dying for him to come out it was 2 days b4 hes due date, and my mum was down for the weekend so really wished something would happen so we went out for a meal i had a hot curry well as hot as i could eat, and 2 pints of guiness/stout which i hated btw and a glass of water to wash it all down with , and within 2 hours was in labour , and 12 hours later my first son was born, worth a try

    Morning :D

    Hope everyone's well?

Weezl well done on the eBay listing :D

Miserable weather here today, OH & I have already been up and out :) Got myself 2 pineapples, no wish to induce labour for a while yet but yum, I love them :D No exciting plans today really, might try and buy some drawers for bubs so I can start to buy and put away his bits and pieces...but OH is going to the pub this aft so he'll be in no fit state to accompany me :rotfl:

Fidget I know the feeling of irritation when OH is drinking and I'm not - spent last night with his family, all drinking but me, very boring really! Tonight should be fun when he returns home..:o Nevermind, will get some girly DVDs on and subject him to them as punishment :p

Really pleased so many of you like the name Jude :) I love it, though OH's mum delighted in telling me yesterday that she didn't! Apparently, she liked Eliot better, or Alex. I really love Tobin too, but they all said that was 'disgusting' (bit harsh!!), grr. When will I learn to just not tell! Oh and whilst they were telling me this, they also told me it was unreasonable of me to not expect OH to go skiing with them!!! Selfish b******s.

But nevermind, his parents are now gone til Christmas time so no need to see them for aaaaaaaaaages :D
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
