Beenie, hope your neighbours have !!!!!! for the rest of the day! Mine are noisy selfish idiots too. I wish all the noisy people could be rounded up and sent to live on an island somewhere, and leave the rest of us in peace!
Kindof, we never took our DS on a plane until he was 4, mainly because we were skint  but also because I remember a particularly torturous flight to Tenerife where a baby was screaming for pretty much the whole 4.5 hours  she was about 9 months old I reckon, and I felt sorry for the parents as the plane was full of grumpy old people who kept tutting and giving them dirty looks - like that helps!! I'm sure there are loads of babies who are fine on planes but I don't reckon my DS would have been one. I'd love to go to NY too, never been to the US but would like to one day.
EA I hope your research went well. I've never had a Greggs sausage roll, I must put that right soon! When I was pregnant last time one of my cravings was sausage rolls, I used to buy bags of frozen ones from Sainsbury's, cook up about 20 and munch them throughout the day. Yum!
Congrats & welcome Ali
Hope we hear good news from MERFE soon.0 -

We love Canada and went to visit relations there when DS was 3 (Just him and us). Stayed a few nights in Toronto, a few in Niagra (loved the falls really impressive), and then stayed with relatives in Ottawa. Defo recommend Canada.

She still seems like a baby to me but she is 16 months.
I'ts very early days, but I have told family and will prob tell friends too, I can't keep a secret.I know everyone feels differently with whether to wait until 3 months or not, but I feel that I have to think positively, and should the worst happen then I will have lot's of support.
I knew I was pregnant as I have bad morning sickness, I started at 1 week pg just like with DD. I also have been feeling soooo tired already, can't imagine what the end will be like! I didn't have it so bad with DD.
Think I will be due about 22 June, 2010 Anyone else having a summer baby?
Just want to talk about it though, I'm so excited!
Congrats to you :T:T:DEvansangel wrote: »Aless - I am sooo sorry (not) They are usually 2 for £X (i forgot haha, buts its more mse to buy and enjoy two

My nephew has club foot and he is now 12 and doesnt stop him doing anything, he plays rugby and football no problems:)
Fingers crossed for MERFE

morning all! I've had a mega quick skim through and thank you again for all your concern and help yesterday - by the time I got in from work I had worked myself up into a bit of a state and DP could see this so we called the hospital and we (me and bump not me and DP!) spent an hour hooked up to the monitor - of course within 30 seconds, the monitor got thoroughly kicked! Also the monitor was picking up lots of movement I couldn't feel so he must have just changed into a wierd position or something. Everything was absolutely fine with baby, my BP was a bit high but as I am having a midwife appointment on Thurs and also doing the home monitoring they let me go home. All the staff were absolutely fabulous and understanding, don't think much of the delivery rooms (was in one being monitored) but minor detail!kindofagilr wrote: »I keep meaning to ask
has anyone noticed an increase in discharge?:o
YesQuite normal though so I understand. Only problem is if you get a change in colour odour etc, then it needs checking out.

Alib welcome back, don't remember you from before as I was on TTC thread then but welcome back. Lots of sticky bean vibes coming your way
Well, as you can see I'm back from my recon mission to greggs!! I walked in the door and the oven timer went off and they brought out a lovely new batch of sausage rolls as I was queuing!!! Leeds prices are as follows: 58p each or £2.10 for 4. Or £1.05 for 2 as I was quoted, incorrectly, then she chaged it to £1.10 for 2 (but I think she was getting confused!!)
But it's very, very nice. I'm tempted to eat the other one whcih i bought for DH but I won't.
Aww beenie just read down and saw music is back on. I hope it makes their ears bleed.
JHA that's nice that the whole family meets up every year. Most of my family are very local and they don't all meet up that often!!
Nozza, not sure about anywhere nearer you but ante-natal classes are still going on up here as I got my dates through last week. Pretty sure it can't be a govt initiative if it's not country-wide
Portsmouth ali you need to try greggs sausage rolls!!!!!!!! :drool:0 -
I am so tired today, i don't know why. i bet i could sleep if i climbed into bed, it's very tempting but i must do a bit of tidying upstairs it looks like we have been burgled.
Greggs sausage rolls are 58p here now. They started at 50p then every few months kept going up and i moan at that as you can get 4 large ones for 50p sometimes in morrisons. I don't carry cash but would often have a £1 in my pocket so would get me and ds one if in town but could only get one for ds with the price increase, i wasn't going to draw £10 out to buy one lol i am so tight prob cos i am a chef and know profit margins etc. This is my signature!0
