I love the Gregg's reviews! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: That's it - we're moving Oop North where the rolls are only 58p! You know this means I have to...erm...'research' what the prices are on my local high street to show how disgusting central London markup is.
Beenie - just wait until you can get revenge with a crying baby, hehehe
If they play their racket after i've been up all night with said cryin baby i think i'll promptly find myself in prison after sticking their heads in the steriliser
And to top it off, the morons already have a 11 months old and are about 4m preg with their next. She's about 12:rolleyes: (well okay i think she's 18)0 -
On the being related question, a friend of my sisters had to answer yes as she and her hubby are distant cousins. Shes originally from india and its not unusual there I believe. I was like ! when the midwife asked me but I guess it's just something they need to know.
I used to know A LOT of Asians, and they do often get forced into marrying even first cousins... so I guess it is relevant. In that case I can't see that it's a great idea... but I'm not judging them it's a cultural choice.0 -
Oh, I know!! It's the one bad thing about working in town - which is why when I DO buy lunch it's usually from Subway which has nationwide £1.99 subs of the days
I only have sub of the day on a Tuesday. Thats Meatball Marinara :money:
When i used to work at subway i had a different one everyday for my lunch to try them, as i hated paying alot of money for a sandwich lol.
My sister has a new job now, so i cant get cheap Mcdonalds anymore0 -

Had a bit of queasyness here & there, didn't have any at all with DS so hopefully won't this time either. Hope you feel better soon.
That picture of the Greggs sausage roll was torture!!! Not sure what to have for lunch. I'm eating for England too, think about food all the time

morning all! I've had a mega quick skim through and thank you again for all your concern and help yesterday - by the time I got in from work I had worked myself up into a bit of a state and DP could see this so we called the hospital and we (me and bump not me and DP!) spent an hour hooked up to the monitor - of course within 30 seconds, the monitor got thoroughly kicked! Also the monitor was picking up lots of movement I couldn't feel so he must have just changed into a wierd position or something. Everything was absolutely fine with baby, my BP was a bit high but as I am having a midwife appointment on Thurs and also doing the home monitoring they let me go home. All the staff were absolutely fabulous and understanding, don't think much of the delivery rooms (was in one being monitored) but minor detail!

Me and OH were discussing this last night, and i said that i thought it was ok and not illegal to marry and 'mate' with your cousin. Its only illegal if its your mum, dad, nan, grandad, aunt, uncle.
But he said it is illegal. So now im confused. Im sure i read somewhere it was ok??
Not that i want to breed with any of my cousins, im just curious :rotfl:
Beenie - Get a loud puppy and play with him alot so he barks alot. See if they like it! lol x0 -
hello everyone, thanks for all the sticky vibes
I've spent all morning at the doctors, numpty who called last night booked the appointment on the 12th instead of the 13th. anyway he saw me eventually, felt tummy, cant feel anything wrong and I have no pains no more bleeding so scan is booked for friday morning - apparently the next earliest one. I just have to wait. Doctor said there is no evidence resting helps so he isnt going to sign me off work - i'm not going in i called them and they were very good, not going tonight or tomorrow then I'm not due in till sun so will see what happens at the scan and they are fine with that. He did then say to rest if i could and no heavy lifting, if it starts bleeding heavy or if there is any pain to go to a and e. I wasnt working last time and it was alot easier not having to worry about it.
Scan is at 9:20 so I dont think I can take DS to preschool first - i will not have time to get to the hospital so he'll have to come with me but OH or my mum might be able to get some time off to come with me. Luckily DD goes in at 8:35 so I should be able to drop her off and go straight after - just hope the traffic isnt too bad.0 -
We drove up to Scotland last new year, through the night when I picked DH up from work at 2am, so to stay awake I'd made a flask of coffee. He got us both a subway to eat as we set off too, I got Italian BMT - my favourite.
Anyway, 10 mins after eating mine I got really ill, had to stop to be sick a few times on the way up and had awful tummy cramps all the way up. All I could taste being sick was the BMT
Turned out the milk I'd put in the coffee was off and that's what made me sick but it totally put me off subway and I haven't eaten one since!!!
Moral of the story? If you have to drive 6 hours to IL's, through the night, while OH sleeps in the car I suggest not giving yourself food poisoning for the trip!!!0 -
aww MERFE hopefully it's just normal bleeding that sometimes happens for no reason - very good that the bleeding has stopped & there's no pains! We'll keep our fingers crossed for ya'.
Ooo Beenie maybe you can report them for damaging a child's eardrums? haha...
Oh no, SJ, BMT is my FAVtop 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

evansangel I believe it is not illegal to marry your cousin as my exs mum and dad were married but it can still cause genetic complications and that is why they ask0
