Has anyone else got asthma???? Mine seems to have gotten slightly worse these last few days - Im having to use my inhaler more.

HI because of my low blood pressure i am finding myself out of breath really easily when I walk the kids to school or even going up and down the stairs. I dont have asthma though but if i did i'd be quite worried and would have probably gone to the docs by now, am thinking about going anyway but keep thinking if i do i bet i get there and they say its not even low even though I've tested it twice at work. First time it was the low side of normal, second it was a bit lower again. It does worry me with the risk of varicose veins because my mum had them.

Have you had your booking in appointment or seen the gp yet?

  • Hi everyone, this is a very quick post while I'm at work... just been catching up on posts since yesterday afternoon, and for some reason all I can now remember was the person who said they had just eaten two flakes!!! I'm now going to have to go in search of a flake.....
Hope everyone's ok and I'll try and pop in again later.
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

Laura, sorry to read your sad news, take care of yourself xxx

Gisi- I have another MW appointment on Monday,my 38week one but it's at home-but Im booked in for homebirth so maybe why. Then Im booked in for appointment on my due date too.

Had another great nights sleep, I can't work out whats going on! Im not knocking it,it's great, I have bags and bags of energy again today, but find it wierd how Ive gone from 3-4 toilet trips in the night and tossin and turning most of the night to sleeping fine all night apart from 1 loo trip at 3am ish

Ive cocked up with my iron tablets..thought I had another full packet in the medicine box but turns out I don't, so Ive got 3 tablets left to last me untill Monday and Im meant to be taking 2 a day. I called in at the doctors this morning to hand my repeat perscrip in so Id get some more by Saturday latest but the doctors is only flamin closed!!! The automatic doors were opening and the dental side was up and running but the doctors side was in darkness and nobody there!! Great, so couldn't organise the perscription, so IF there open tommorow I'll get my tablets on Monday now. I'll just have to just take 1 a day untill I get some more and hope it won't make much difference to my levels.

hi just catching up! helen I think the home visit is linked to it being a HB, the MW wanted to check out where the action would be so to speak. I think they're keen to know you're not at the top of a block of flats with no lift or sommat!

Iron-wise, you're prob sorted, but asda's own iron is quite cheap if ever you need a top-up in an emergency!

JHA thanks for the tip about swine-flu :) I'll keep an eye-out for symptoms on our travels! I carry an anti-bacterial hand rub in the change bag, so must be more diligent with that!

Sure there was more I was going to say! Hope you're all well?

Who was it who had a hard time at 32 week scan, multi-quote has let me down. Big hugs to you anyway, sounds grim :(

Im not too worried about my asthma as I go through stages with it and once Ive had a spray Im fine again.

As for my booking in appointment or seeing the GP I saw him nearly 2wks ago and put my name down with the receptionist on my way out, but Ive not had my booking in appointment or any other MW appointment as theyve not got in touch with me, although I did ring my doctors to see what was what and they will get in touch but she couldnt tell me when it was so Im no better off :rolleyes::D
