Is anyone watching Dragons' Den online?! Someone entered a video of their product for feeding twin babies at the same time - basically 2 bottles stuck together! Shocking!!!!0

The moses basket is nice. I have one that I've been given though so that's probably the only thing I won't be tempted to buy lol!0

Aww did we bore everyone with cot talk?
My acid reflux is really hacking me off today. Pretty sure i've already had too much Gaviscon but it's burning my throat and i feel sick! boohoo0 -
I think we did!!
I'm just browsing the internet looking for sprinkles and cake boxes lol! Glad I didn't start about that too otehrwise I'd be here on my own!
That's rubbish. I've had only a bit of reflux, mainly when I bend over etc so it's ok really. I just can't stop sniffing - my nose is sore from blowing it so much too.0 -
Finally caught up! Need to go to bed but just wanted to post a quick reply.madwoman85 wrote: »....
Just wondering whether any of you have thought about what birthing position you're going to try... I know my MW said that lying on your back really isn't good for you because it can cause damage to the bottom of your tail bone, but I haven't really been to any classes that discussed other options, other than say a water birth which I am not sure I want anyway...
Any advice/opinions would be great!
Hope you all have a nice morning!

This is the leaflet we were given at our antenatal class - we got to try out all the positions in class as well
My notes say that I should be seeing my GP every two weeks now but when I saw her yesterday she said she wanted to see me every week so I'm book in to see my GP at 39 and 40 then the hospital at 41.
Jolene - I'm was paranoid at the start that my pregnancy wouldn't last and didn't really start buying anything until 30 weeks! I also think if you start too early you will buy too much but it doesn't really matter when you start, getting a few things makes it feel more real.
Lauralou -really sorry you are leaving us, I had some people tell me that you are more fertile after a mc and it was true with me as I got pregnant again after just one period post mc, hope you are just as successful.
Always - just read your post, really hope everything is ok. Looking forward to that drink next week.
Right - time for sleep - got work tomorrow, only 5 more days at work :TMum to DD born Oct 2009

Oh, just realised you can't see the leaflet from the NCT website, do you think I should be naughty tomorrow and scan it for you?

morning,
beenie I hope you are feeling better this morning x
I love the i love my bear range, I had bought loads of the bedding, changing mat etc in the last pregnancy. Toys r us were really good about taking it all back as well about 6 months later - couldnt face it before then and even then i sat crying in the car whilst OH took it back. After having 2 healthy babies I just hadnt expected anything to go wrong, i'm not going to make he same mistake this time - i'll probably not buy anything till next year. I did get some maternity clothes from ebay but I've always needed these early on before, at the moment my ordinary trousers are still falling down on me.
I feel great this morning, went to bed at 7:30 last night then woke at 9:30 when OH got home from work and my headache had gone, back in bed about half hour after that, def needed the sleep.nOH isnt going into work til 9 this morning so he is probably going to be late again today.0 -
Morning,
:grouphug: Beenie, sorry you're feeling rubbish xx
Merfe - glad you had a good nights sleepYou sound like me, I've been in bed by half 9 almost all week
SJ hope you're back on form today? Though I also hope you take another day off, no point going back to work on a Friday
The cot you were all looking at last night is gorgeous, it looks a really nice quality too. And SJ, if the MIL is paying...I don't think it's a bad buyOH's dad is buying our pushchair, though he did specify that if we want the Bugaboo we'll have to put in some of our own money! Anyway, that leaves buying furniture to us as nobody else is willing to pay :rotfl:Really love Somnium's cot but don't want to buy the one on eBay and end up unable to get the matching dresser/drawers, so think we're gonna go with this - looks quite nice in real life
I'd prefer a cotbed but like that set the best, plus if we move as planned hopefully bubs will have a bigger bedroom when only a few months old so we'll buy new bigger furniture to fit the room then
I'd love one of these for a little girl
Can you tell OH doesn't talk about these things with me? I'm starved of girly furniture/nursery talk!!
Eek just spent half an hour on here and looking at furniture, whoops, gotta get up and ready, meant to be in town by 9 to meet with someone I used to do a bit of work for, may be more work for me fingers crossed
Catch up soon ladies, xxxBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Heya ladies, apologies straight off if I miss anything important thats happened but have a lil catching up to do still.
Laura - hugs to you hun, hope you get all the support you need at this time and fngers crossed you'll be back with us soon xx
Always - didn't see your post before aqua yesterday, but huggles to you too hun, sending lots of positive vibes out to you and bubs.
As for Mat clothes I bought mine not long after finding out I was PG as I was really bloated from IVF, and they were in the sale, however the bloating went down soon after and dont think I actually started to wear any till around 14 weeks whenI really had a mini bump.
EA and Gymfiend - I wasn't sure if I could feel bubs either more a rumbly tummy feeling, but after scan on Tuesday and asking sonographer how she was lying I can kinda match what I'm feeling to baby now. Even then tho am still not really sure and think sometimes it could be wind lol, am 19+1 now so dont pannick, I know some girls on anothersite I post on had this discussion already and some of them didnt feel bubs till 22 weeks.
Beenie - hope you feel better soon hunny xx
Love the postman stories, I hate the mail atm it really sux and makes my job at work tres difficult as all the spares orders I place are via mail and the smaller stuff comes out by mail, there fore lots of annoyed customers waiting ages for pushchair, highchair and cot bed spares etc.
Well work is improving, one of the ladies brought me in some innocent smooties yesterday to cheer me up and having spoken to a couple more folks its not as many people as I thought more one or two who are stirring, and a bad case of chinease whispers gone wrong!
Well no food in the house except for frozen meals! Fortunatley its pay day todayso off shopping after work. Not like my day isnt long enough as it is...sigh...tired just thinking about it lol. Oh and who ever keeps talking about yummy greggs, so not fair! Don't even have a bakers near work
