AAARGG trying to register my dad for T-mobile online but the flippin email has not showed up. so i'm sitting twiddling my thumbs
Why do places transfer their call centers abroad when they know they struggle to communicate with customers.
Kept trying to explain that we could not send a text to get him on the free calls because it kept saying message failed she kept asking what number are you sending it too, i then spent 15min trying to explain it wouldn't let me put a number in because his sim is so old it didn't send texts(it's a one 2 one sim:rotfl:). And she kept repeating what number are you texting the message too:mad: eventually after 30 minutes she said i think the problem may be the sim card have you tried a new sim in the phone to see if it works. !!!!!!
SOOOOOOOOOOO i'm bored and my inbox is still empty:rolleyes:[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Congratulations Squishy! Really pleased to hear from you. Hope you and Elena are doing well and get home soon. x
PP - that is disgraceful. I feel so sorry for kids like that - how are they meant to grown up to be responsible/respectful adults when they are treated like that? I can't abide swearing at or in front of children never mind the general neglect!
Ladies, remember when buying outfits to check the sizes carefully for their weights. Tiny Baby was mentioned by Harley as 7.5lbs, but in Next, the Newborn size has a maximum of 7.5lbs. The Newborn size in Mothercare is up to 10lbs. So it's different everywhere. Holly didn't get to wear any of the Newborn Next clothes which were all brand new. Also the Newborn M&P and John Rocha sleepsuits are too small for her. Even the Mothercare ones are slightly on the small side although she is under the 10lbs. We are going to have to invest in the next size up as her legs are too long and I am worried about squashing her toes.
Glam - if you are around, what length is Jack? Holly was 59cm when born!! I saw you all talking about percentiles on the Parent Thread, and I think Holly is around 95 percentile, but not sure I am working it out correctly! She was 8lb 7oz when born, and is now 9lb 6oz! No-one has charted her though.
Also, I highly recommend the Mothercare and Next sleepsuits as they come with fold over scratch mitts attached. The Asda/Tesco ones I have don't, and Holly really needed scratch mitts as she kept scratching her face. It's 100 times easier when you can just fold over the attached ones at the end of the sleeves than mess about trying to put mitts on!
ASDA tiny baby is 6lbs!
Jack's length wasnt measured but he is long - I'll see if I can measure him myself tomorrow. not sure about working out percentiles as mine is just charted in red book. [STRIKE]I'll check red book if u like to see if I can work Holly's out - [/STRIKE] hang on, I only have boys charts which are different
I agree with scratchmitts - Jack always pulls them off and now its cold he's hands get freezing at night unless I have the fold over ones on and I dont have many suits with them on which is a pain.
amazing how quick their nails grow, I need to cut Jacks later as he has clawed my chest really bad todayA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Morning everyone
When I left my last job for ml pregnant with ds the work collegues gave me a box of chocs (they knew i had gestational diabetes and couldnt eat them) and a bottle of baileys, seriously if they had got me a five pound mothercare voucher I'd have been more excited or some cute booties, but clearly no thought had gone into it. Luckily HR are a bit more clued up and they always gave £50 john lewis vouchers to any staff going on maternity leave and send lovely flowers after the birth.
One of the girls from my team also kept telling me everyday that they could have been wrong at the scan because her mum was told she was a boy, everyday!!!! I was at the scan I didnt need the sonographer to tell me what it was I could see the crown jewels myself, and I knew before the scan anyway. They couldnt tell when I had dd but I knew she was a girl from the amnio.
Blood pressure is still low, felt really dizzy at work. Why is every pregnancy so different. Apparantly exercise is good so if its not tipping it down I'll walk the kids to school today0 -

Oh yeah i went through a phase
Bascially you just go to a cashback website, loads of a clicks section. Then click on all the links from there, usually search engines like Kelkoo, search for something (random, like Wii) and that's it.
It will then eventually credit your account with 2p or whatever. So you obv need to do loads for it to all add up.
I've got mine in my sig but can't withdraw any cos it's all spread out over diff sites & u need say £10 to withdraw funds.
Most of them have one offs, like sign up to a newsletter for 50p so that can help build it up at the start.
I did it for about 2 hours a day for 3 weeks, and got fed up, and i've not been back since but i will - otherwise all the time was wasted!! You need to be patient and persisitent but it does pay off eventually, just takes time. There's ways to make it quicker - i used to open them all in tabs first then work my way through the tabs so i didn't have to keep going back to main page.0 -
Morning!
Congrats to squishy and welcome to baby ElenaCan't wait for pics!
Kindof I'm afraid I don't get the daily click thing...so can't helpAre you registered with any of the cashback sites, quidco etc, so you can get cashback on some things you buy online? Have you anything worth eBaying? Or carbooting? I got all sorts of junk from my parents, friends, OH's parents etc and carbooted it all & got to keep the money
I'm worried about the size of my baby too...apparently it already had long legs at 13 weeks  I was 8.11 and my bro was 9.2 - both around due date, sis was 7.6 I think and she was 2 weeks early! OH is a twin so was smaller but cant remember exactly how much, either way I reckon it's gonna be a big baby!
SJ hope you're feeling better today?
Could most of you feel baby moving by 18 weeks? Think today is 18+2 (or maybe 3, really struggle to remember!) and I don't think I feel anything, and I don't look pregnant, beginning to worry a bit
Plan for today is go to Tesco and buy some food, our fridge is looking a tad bare except for Milka chocolate!! Think I'm coming down with something though, feel really grim and was in bed asleep by half 9 again last night

Morning girls
Just tried to get dr appt for me & toddler together, said we'd share a single slot, but receptionist said they couldn't & we'd have to go together at 10.30 or have 2 sep appts, even when I said I was 39 wks pg & he's 2 1/2! So I'm seeing dr @ 0930 (piles bothering me & therefore worried about implications for labour IYSWIM!) & think I'll ask off-the-record about minor concern re toddler - bit cheeky!
Friend coming for lunch, lost her FiL recently & BiL just had a stroke, so feeling a bit low - think she wants to see me, toddler & bump to take her mind off things.
Cool but sunny here, hope to pick all rosehips today so I can make rosehip jelly before weekend - blackberry jam I made other day has turned out really well, so more confident about making other preserves now! :j
Also got cards to make for daughter, her boss & a friend have birthdays soon & I promised to do some nice cards for her to give, & a meeting to attend after tea, so that will be my Thursday gone!
Will pop in later - hope to hear good news about csh!
Love, hugs, kisses & labour vibes to all - take your pick!
