  • Nanc- i don't know how you've done it. The thought of having to get up early everyday is just too much for me at the moment!

Had my 36 weeks appointment today and MW took bloods, which I wasn't expecting! She's happy with everything though and I don't have to see her again till my due date! I do see the doctor in two weeks time instead of her, but is that normal?! I expected to go to weekly appointments from now on .

I slept so badly again last night. I just really need a good nights sleep but it isn't happening at all. I just seem to toss and turn and get up for a wee about 6 times a night.

Helen- I got the 300mg in the end, but will prob get my next lot at Tesco or Asda as I think they are cheaper than Boots!

got - it.. cheers but its a desk job and pretty relaxed so all ok. I'm still on 2 weekly appointments next one is Monday with midwife and ive had all bloods taken as well 1 lot at 10weeks and other lot at 30weeks I think from memory. I thought id be on weekly now as well but I suppose its a good sign we're not, maybe?

I try not to drink past 9pm and even then i still get up twice and last night i gulped a glass of water on last wee run..

One week left at work yeyyy, glad I'll be working until end but boy has it been a bit tough towards to end more just fending of same questions everyday and the drive home is a bit rubbish xx

How long are you having off for ML nanc? It's a big achievement being there until so late. I would be really pleased with myself if I'd managed it well done.

I've been off so long now it feels like going back time is creeping up on me already! I would've ended up going off sick though as can't really walk well any more and my hormones have been shocking too. I have a little cry when I go and check on my DD when she's sleeping and I even had a little cry the other day because I saw an old woman with 2 reeeally old dogs on a lead that couldn't walk very well :o so there's no way I would've been able to cope with all the shouting at me that seems a normal part of my job!

It's weird when you get those strong period type pains isn't it? You aren't sure what to think! I had them the other week and they became regular but then they just stopped. Got period-type pains today but they aren't in any kind of pattern. The bump support the physio gave me while comfortable at first, starts to feel like it's compressing my tummy and it begins to hurt after a while so it might be that.

Just went shopping again with my mum and because she has to hold my basket for me, she can vet everything I put in and was going "TWO POUNDS FOR THAT???? YOU MUST BE MAD" when I was putting things in my trolley grr

    Morning!

Could most of you feel baby moving by 18 weeks? Think today is 18+2 (or maybe 3, really struggle to remember!) and I don't think I feel anything, and I don't look pregnant, beginning to worry a bit :o

    xxx

i am on my 4th baby , and only started feeling him , last week at about 19 half weeks , you may feel flutters in ur belly like wind , some people say feels like butterflies in ur belly , but every one is different ,
When i went for my scan on monday the lady said was i feeling any kicks yet , as the placenta is above him and next to my tummy so i prob wont feel the kicks on the outside properly for a few more weeks ,
Every one is different , don't worry to much , like i said every one is different , somepeople get fat fast some people carry really small

GISI - I'm still on fortnightly MW visits and haven't had any extra blood tests or been told to visit doctor. I'm sure when I had DD they went weekly after so many weeks. I also remember having swabs and stuff as well then (I think for thrush and other infections) but nothing this time. Then I have an appointment at hospital I think it's to discuss induction about 8 days after due date.

Reading through my notes it says i needed to see my MW at 18 weeks, so i gave her a call on monday, and like always her phone was switched off.
So i left a message to say i was 18 weeks on sunday (just gone) and i have moved house now and the only day i am free for an appointment is Friday or the weekend and to let me know what is available.
Its now Thursday and she hasn't contacted me, would it be rude to call again? Even though im 99.9% sure her phone will be switched off, would it be rude to leave another message? lol.

I hate leaving messages on answerphones, i always sound weird and i tend to put on an ultra posh voice lol.

Gymfiend - My SIL didn't even get a bump until she was 28 weeks, and she's small like you :)

I forgot to mention that earlier.
