Beenie - I think JHA paired me with MERFE. PM her and ask to join the secret santa thing :)

She should PM back with your buddy, and if you already did that and she didn't PM you back i think its cause she needs another person to join up to pair you with :D

Yorkie - Apparently they are a load of old tosh, they say its down to genes. If your mum got themm you will to.
But, anything with cocoa butter or sweet almond oil is meant to be good. Or bio oil. I have this tummy rub from wilko, its £2 and is in the baby section :D
Still have a few stretch marks, but my tummy is always soft lol x

    Hello everyone
Well just an update from what i posted yesterday. I went into the doctors this morning to try and get an early appointment but they didn't have anything untill the afternoon, so i went back home and rang the early pregnancy clinic, told them i was booked in next week for an early scan but have had some brown discharge they told me to come in asap.
Laura Hi I had the same thing I had brown discahrge and then for a few days later a pink stringing discharge ( Sorry if tmi) and gave myself a heartattack. I think i was about 6 weeks, but fingers crossed i am now 29+6 and evrything is ok, I know it's hard but try not to worry and at least you have seen the scan.

Can anyone recommend a moisturiser to try and minimise stretch marks - or are they a load of old tosh :D
Allergic to most lotions that are recomended but swear by Aveno. It's an oats based moisturizer without lanolin etc. works for me anyway.

Hi merfe glad you are feeling better today:D have you been to see a docotor or midwife?

I havent, most the bleeding was on sat morning and the midwife called in the afternoon to make the booking in appointment, she said not to worry about the bleeding as it had stopped and was after intercourse. There was a tiny bit more on sunday but really tiny and freaked me out a bit but it was just on sunday morning and didnt continue. Midwife had said to call out of hours if there was more bleeding but it was such a tiny amount I doubt i'd have even noticed it if it hadnt been for the bleed on sat. I'm ready to call straight away if it happens again though.

beenie cat - we know because jha told us.

yorkygal - bio oil is supposed to be very good but it is pricey.

It was via facebook. I replied saying "well new government lesiglation states that they cant prove that eating nuts during pregnancy is the cause of nut allergys in children, even if the father has a nut allergy. So they are saying pregnant woman can eat nuts in moderation as long as they dont give them to the child when they are born"

I wanted to add "SO IN YOUR FACE!" but thought that would of been childish :rotfl:

Plus a snickers ice cream has all of like 5 peanuts in lol.

So i did, they sent me to have a scan, had my scan and they said they could see my pregnancy sac but couldnt see anything but they said im prob not as far gone as we thought so i have booked to have another scan in 2weeks 19th. So just got to wait until then but i suppose it's good that i have got a pregnancy sac so hopefully my little green bean will grow into a baby!:D
Woo sorry for the long post!

I had this with my frist miscarriage but I knew my dates weren't wrong as I had been away for most of my fertile time - the bleeding kept getting heavier so I knew before the second scan that it wasn't going to be. Second time though my dates were wrong as I'd only had one period after the mc and my periods hadn't settled down, the bleeding this time was light and only for a few days which I later found out is probably due to cervical erosion. Fingers crossed for you, try and stay calm for the next two weeks - I know how hard it is!

My sister recommended bio oil as she used it on her tummy and ended up with stretch marks on her boobs (the only place she hadn't used it!) I got mine from Amazon as that was the cheapest place but that was a couple of weeks ago. To cut down on cost I use coconut butter in the morning then the bio oil at night.

    Oooh ok i haven't PM'd her but i will now :o:o

32b i've got loads of Aveeno in the cupboard for DS eczema, never though to use it on me for stretchmarks! It's the best moisturiser though, we've used every type going for DS but that's the only one that works.

:rotfl: I've been getting so angry really quickly since i've been pregnant lol.

Some woman wouldn't listen to me and she was wrong. And she just said "im ringing off now, your getting on my nerves, im going to speak to my building manager to prove sky put the communal dish up"

And i hope he tells her how wrong she is! lol.

Sky dont put up communal dishes :p

I swore, not at her, she had rung off by then. But the call was still recording :o
