EA - my DH is the same so I cook when I get home at 6pm and eat when it's ready (so usually 6:30/7) and then fix him a plate to microwave when he gets home. But our couch is right next to the dining table so I sit with him while he eats so it still feels like we get mealtime together, IYSWIM? Also, if you don't mind me asking (and I don't mean this to be rude), but why are you starting your ML so early? Is it because you're not planning on returning to work afterwards?
Good tip about low-salt meals before bed...I try to not cook with loads of salt anyway, but have been insanely thirsty lately as have had sore throat. Pizza always makes me dying of thirst through the night, too!!
MW appt went well. Between MW & student MW took 3 tries to measure FH - got measurements ranging from 25 to 31!! Seems is hard to find where my pubic bone is?? Didn't feel for position though. BP seemed a wee bit high to me but they said it was within normal range based on my booking appt. Baby obviously liked all the attention as has been kicking away ever since!
If we have take out pizza (dominos) that makes me super thirsty.
Also, im starting ML so early cause i start college next sept and am not going back to work. After i finish college im going right onto uni.
So by starting ML in December, it will finish just before college starts. And i have to use up all my holiday to, and that brings it down to Nov0 -

I have just finished my mammoth catch up:
Congrats to Harley - beautiful baby and name
Welcome back to the pregnancy thread Weezl (although obviously we like hearing from all from the parent thread - pregnant or not).
Labour vibes to CSH.
Yorkygal - I phoned up when I got my BFP and they said to make an appointment for the 8 week booking in - so I would assume you need to get in touch just in case.
Also wanted to say congrats to SJ - beautiful wedding photos glad you had a good time. I tried to get into my wedding dress three weeks after and it no longer fit!
There was loads more but sorry I can't remember everythingTegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Hi all - sorry i havent been online all weekend, thanks for asking after me though - makes me realise how much i love this place all the more!!!
Well ex turned up promising to help me decorate and like a muppet i let him in to mess with my head again :rolleyes: Anyway he didn't do anything except make my tea last night and didn't even move any furniture for me. Don't plan on seeing him again tbh but still feeling torn between his apparent split personalities lol!!
Still feeling poorly, still half deaf in one ear despite trying to steam it all out with vapour-rub stuff!
Oh and i wanted to come on last night but my computer wouldn't load Windows so i had to do a full reformat and lost 3 years worth of all my family pictures, videos, all software, movies, EVERYTHING!!! I hate myself so much for not backing up, i think an external hard drive is going on my 'things to buy' list!
Went to car boot sale yesterday, was only there for about an hour it didn't take long to get round it all cos it was an indoor one. There was hardly any baby stuff but there was one stall full of newborn girl stuff from Next!
She was selling 3 x Next vests - 50p, or 2 x sleepsuits - 50p and i got some hats for 20p each, and 2 coats for £1 each!
Oh and two outfits for 50p each although they're quite summery and it'll still be cold by then, but they were too nice to not buy lolSo i spent about £7 on her stall got 1.5 carrier bags worth of clothes!!
Then found another stall selling an Avent manual breast pump with all the bits (i inspected it cos i had same pump with DS) for £3, and a house of fraser snowsit type thing for £1.
So if it wasn't for the first stall i'd hvae come away disappointed but i am v.pleased with my haul, cos i had no clothes and now i have quite a few!:D
jha - i hope you're doing well, and i want to join in the santa thing but dunno what i'm supposed to do - it took me til now from 9:45am to catch up and i only really skim read :rotfl:
Harley - massive congrats so glad to hear it went well and she is gorgeous!!! Hope you're still feeling positive about doing it alone, i was alone with DS from day 1 and the night feeds weren't as bad as i thought they would be, so hoping i feel the same again cos i'm likely to be alone again!!0 -
Hi Everyone,
Just on a 15 min rest from the 15 min plan - again! 32b I really feel like going on TV and advertising your plan :rotfl:I honestly can't believe how much I've got done! Re-organised our bedroom yesterday to fit in the moses basket and stand - had to take down my glass next dressing table which was rather sad but it's only for a few months and it's a small sacrifice really.
Harley - don't know if I've already said this but massive congratulations on the birth of gorgeous little Kezia (lovely name btw) and am absolutely thrilled you had a relatively good birth (except for the ouch..tearing).
Squishy - fingers crossed everything goes brilliantly today x
Csh - hopefully you next, are you feeling uncomfortable now or are you coping well? Even at this stage I often feel like there is nowhere for me to "be" I'm that uncomfortable so it must be more for ladies who are closer or have gone over. I realised that I can no longer eat tea on my knee any more yesterday and even at the dining room table it's a little uncomfortable.
Beenie - hope you are ok and that you are back with us soon - it's such a worry on here when someone goes MIA. Ahh there you are took me a long time to write this obv.
SJ - Lovely wedding/bump pictures - and everyone else who posted bumps - made me feel very out of shape! I'm so short I'm starting to feel like a weeble!
EA - I found my Ipod too yesterday after weeks of searching - I feel quite bad because OH foolishly bought me a Iphone for my birthday so I promised my little pink Ipod to DD but I found out that Iphone wont work on my docking station and if you listen to music on it the battery lasts about a minute. Will still have to hand it over though as I promised....well maybe in a few weeks.
My SPD is shocking today - I expected it to clear up miraculously to make me a liar when I go for physio tomorrow. The walk to school was a nightmare I really cannot walk very well and wonder whether people are just thinking I'm being a big wimp and making a big deal out of being pregnant! I feel like shouting that I've got SPD! The housework isn't too hard though because of the regular breaks - it's just if I try to do anything below waist height that I come unstuck.
Well there goes my timer - back to work for 15 x0 -
Now that I have more time - can anyone suggest where to get some front buttoned nighties for me to put in my hospital bag - tried Asda and tesco but they don't seem to have anything - also some suitable tops for breastfeeding (hopefully I will be able to breaatfeed). All help appreciated.Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Hello ladies,
All the best for the scan today Nikkit, hope baby co-operates and you get to confirm its a boy!
Glad to see you back Beenie, we were worried about you.
Im having a lazy day, I had a long (unintentional) lie-in, just had a quick scoot around the kitchen and hung a load of washing up to dry. Now Im going to sit on the sofa for a bit doing nothing with my RLT. And we're going on a tour of the hospital this evening, should be interesting as Ive only seen the day assessment unit so far, all of my midwife appts are at the doctors.
Hope everyones having a good day xBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0
