    Have a great scan nikkit:beer:
  • Hope you are all ok!

I have had a naff week with some really awful news about a friend at work losing her baby, so have been really down with it and then my BP went sky high!

Hopefully I am back to normal now though, got the MW tomorrow so will know for def!

Congrats to Harley! That is a gorgeous baby! And what a fab name!

Labour vibes to the other girlies! :T

You can send some my way too if you want... I am hoping to "pop" this little one out a bit early if possible! Hehe! :o

Anyway, don't know if any of you have seen but on the daily deals on ebay this morning, they are selling a 2 pack of hooded towels for only £5.99 with free P&P... Look really cute and snug! :A Might be worth a look if you haven't got any towels yet... (I know they aren't very MSE but they are sooooo cute!)

Hope you all have good mornings, I am off to do some ironing!

    Speak later...

    Mad

I have a countdown for finishing work to :D
    Its on my ipod lol.
    I have **find Ipod** 44 days :eek::D

But its not 44 days from today, i work 4 days a week. So i counted how many working days i have left, and didn't include my Rota Days Off.

I finish 18th Nov i think for annual leave the 20th Dec for ML.
And im not coming back afterwards :D

For our dress up day at work, the best team wins a prize of paintballing. I said its not fair as i cant go paintballing, and they have said i can go, there going to tie me to a tree, with my back facing out so baby is protected and i can be the person who gets all the hits while they escape :rotfl:

  • Morning. Gorgeous pic Harley- Kezia is really beautiful.

Karen- congrats on starting your AL/ML. Today is my first day of proper ML after two weeks holiday and I'm still enjoying it!

EA- I sleep better if I eat earlier too. It's hard when you're working, but now I'm finished I generally get our evening meal before 7pm and it does make a difference. I do find pregnancy generally makes me thirstier though!

I really fancy a banana and peanut butter smoothie today- I think I'm going to have to go and make one in a minute. Luckcy we always have slightly overipe bananas in the house....which reminds me I might also make a banana loaf.

I wish i could have our evening meal earlier then 7. OH finishes work at 7pm earliest, and its 30 mins for him to get home :(

What i might start doing is cooking a small meal for me earlier and then doing his for when he gets home :)

EA - my DH is the same so I cook when I get home at 6pm and eat when it's ready (so usually 6:30/7) and then fix him a plate to microwave when he gets home. But our couch is right next to the dining table so I sit with him while he eats so it still feels like we get mealtime together, IYSWIM? Also, if you don't mind me asking (and I don't mean this to be rude), but why are you starting your ML so early? Is it because you're not planning on returning to work afterwards?

Good tip about low-salt meals before bed...I try to not cook with loads of salt anyway, but have been insanely thirsty lately as have had sore throat. Pizza always makes me dying of thirst through the night, too!!

MW appt went well. Between MW & student MW took 3 tries to measure FH - got measurements ranging from 25 to 31!! Seems is hard to find where my pubic bone is?? Didn't feel for position though :(. BP seemed a wee bit high to me but they said it was within normal range based on my booking appt. Baby obviously liked all the attention as has been kicking away ever since! :)
