Could I please ask for some advice from ladies at 7 months ish plus?

I've been feeling the need to do more mum and baby activities with Fergie in the day. I can go to 2 activities a day and walk around 3-5 miles per day. ie a total of 1.5-2 hrs walking a day but broken up into little chunks.

Do you think this will be do-able still when I'm 7-9 months PG.

    Interested in all thoughts really!

    ...

3-5 miles sound a lot to me at 37 weeks. I have days where I have loads of energy and feel like I can do loads then other days when I can't do anything. I can walk quite far on a good day but if I'm carrying anything my back quickly gets sore. Sometimes after sitting at work too long walking is really hard so it also depends how much movement I've been doing during the day so I haven't seized up. Really there is no way of knowing how you will cope though.

Lovely pics Weezle and Harley, makes me really want to meet Noogle now. Me and OH have decided the 18th will be the best day for Noogle to arrive as OH has a few days off then so it wont interfere with his training as much, going to have to brush up on eviction methods. I'm finishing work on the 15th! Only 9 days left at work  Might have to take the car to work one day as I have so much stuff there that needs to be cleared out.

hmmm I think all us PG ladies are early nighters? I'm just waiting on OH getting in from walking the dogs, if i don't put Tanyas pants on they fall off.

Weezle you have started something with your question on the Parent thread. OH and i are going to need to seriously rethink the situation given my sisters current medical problems. We have a real problem though i do not get along with OH's family I disagree entirely with all of of their parental skill's, or in my opinion lack off. That only leaves my parents, so perhaps OH and i should do what the royals do:rotfl: Separate transportation etc.

    ...

I think I'm the only pregnant late nighter left! There used to be quite a few and as my pregnancy progresses I'm getting worse as I seem to need less sleep

Are you talking about who would look after LO if anything happened to you? Both me and my older sis have said our younger sis can have our LO's if anything happens to us because she is a primary school teacher and great with kids. My younger sis has picked my older sis because she is a doc and has more money than me. I don't mind, I think coping with my own will be hard enough!

Well, maybe I should go to bed early like everyone else, I could always read for a bit :p Night all.

  • Morning all! Monday again already aarrrrrgggh! Still, I've got Friday off this week as DS school is closed so nice long weekend coming up.

Told my parents yesterday, they're absolutely delighted. I think they thought (as we did) that we weren't going to have any more as DS is now 7, so they're very surprised and pleased.

Hope everyone has a good day x

Oww I dun wanna go back to work, I can feel a headache brewing just thinking about it! Why do weeks of have to end? Anyhoo I calculated last night I only have about 73 working days left before ML starts, how sad am I? H (the dog) has his sad face on, and I hate having to leave him.

On the subject of carers for bubs I suppose thats a discussion we still need to have, its a scary thought though.

Squishy - best of luck for today and hope everything goes well, bet you cant wait to meet LO :D

csh - still sending out labour vibes for you xx

Good luck Squishy if you haven't gone already!! :D:D AND HUGE VIBES FOR CSH TO GO BEFORE THURSDAY!!!!

I'm definitely not a night owl and pregnancy has only made it worse! Also DH gets jealous if I'm on the computer loads in the evenings when he's home, since he works such long hours anyway...which is why most of my MSE time is during the day at work :-p. I'm a woman, I multi-task! hehe

3 - good point, hope Beenie just forgot to pay the phone bill and it's nothing more sinister. She was feeling really poorly on Friday so maybe she just took a few day's break from the computer to recover.

MW appt this morning! 8 weeks left at work! :D

Morning all!I am on my first day of my annual leave, which will then be followed by ML - yay :)

I haven't been on for ages because I was training my mat cover at work (which was when I usually catch up) then knackered by the time I got home and been away for a couple of weekends. So am going to try and do a mammoth catch up now.

labour and sticky vibes to those in need.

    xx

EA I recently started trying to have a very low salt/MSG dinner to try to prevent this. Seems pretty effective so far, HTH ;)

It seems to be worse if i have Pizza for dinner or anything with salt. I dont eat much salt anyway as it makes my lips go all weird and tingly. But OH covers is stuff in it :(
