Jha - I will join you on the 15 min plan :j living room seems to have filled up with junk again since yesterday.

OH has taken Emma to dance class and to his parents so should be able to get a fair bit done in that time.

Feeling a bit mizz today as been using the new (mum lent it us) tumble dryer which (ok not :money: ) has been a real help with getting the washing done and put away quickly. Only thing is when you are getting bigger, clothes dried in dryer tend to get a bit smaller . My t-shirts seem to be riding up more and showing bottom of bump which I don't like and my favourite mat jeans are now beginning to roll down a bit so feeling a bit like a huge heffalumpette today.

Also don't feel hungry or thirsty at all but have a real craving for something but don't know what  (hehe no, it's definitely not that either:naughty:) Whatever it is I probably can't have it anyway!

Ooh Squishy, exciting! - hope you get going on your own very soon. Lots of labour vibes for the September girls!

Right I'm off to do my first 15 mins, see you in a bit!

Yay for joining me in the 15 min challenge fidget:hello:
  • I've just walked to my local co-op (about 1 mile round trip) and I'm nackered! Just recovering with a cup of RLT and a Come Dine With Me marathon. Will crack on with the ironing in a bit too. The traffic into town looks horrendous. So glad I decided not to go as I do not have the patience for it at the moment!

Woohoo.....my local NCT sale is tomorrow and I'm very much looking forward to it. Is that sad?!

    Hello ladies,

Gisi - thats not sad looking forward to the NCT sale. Id love to go to one but Ive already bought everything so it wouldnt be very mse to buy stuff just for the sake of it. I get really giddy before I go to the car boot too though! Thank you for the reminder about swapping fuel suppliers too, Ive been meaning to do it for weeks and just saved over £200 a year and got £62 cashback :j

JHA - Im not joining in with the 15 min plan today but will be on Monday. Its my extra day off work so as long as I achieve a few bits I feel more productive and I get to spend all weekend with OH.

We're having a lazy duvet day watching The Muppet Show :D Its one of my absolute fave things and something we used to do a lot when we were first going out. Sundays were normally spent nursing hangovers, lying on the sofa with the duvet, muppet show or trashy films and a sofa picnic with lots of olives and brie. Bliss! All thats missing today is the hangover and the brie, I think it will be one of the first things I eat once bubbas here. Ive asked my mum to bring me a full wheel over from France :rotfl:

Mahoosive labour vibes to those in need!

  • Ooh, I'm with you on the brie Boogellyboo! I'm so glad I won't be pg over Christmas (apologies to those who will be) but it wouldn't be the same without lots of yummy brie, stilton and a sneaky glass of bubbly!

     My parents live in France and whenever they come over my fridge is filled with brie, pate, loads of cheeses and meats us pregnant ladies cant have and crates of wine ready to distribute around the family! Its soo unfair! Ive asked for a bottle of pink champagne to go with my brie for when Ive had baby.

    Hi 2 all ladies,

Kind0f - We have loads of problems with our bank letting payments go out of our accounts early, usually when there's no money in it  Not quite the same problem as yours but still a pain in the a$$!

I would join in with the 15 min plan but have been into town 2day and me, DH and DD have all walked back home!!! Shocking for me cos i never usually would. Somehow feel a bit energetic all of a sudden!

Luvin the stories of how you all met you DH/OH. My bro in law introduced me + my DH 2 each other + he used 2 meet me out of school when i was in 6th form! Been together nearly 9 yrs, married for 18mths and as soon as i met him i knew we would be together forever!! Soppy i know but he really was my 1st luv!

Wishing labour vibes 4 all who want them

    xx
  • Hello all, I'm having quite a lazy Saturday, watching X-Factor repeat (deleted it from Sky+ by mistake earlier in week) while DS watches Dr Who DVD in front room. Done a bit of shopping at Asda earlier (VERY busy!) and did the hoovering. Looking forward to Strictly tonight, our lodger is cooking a chilli which means no cooking. Yay!

Had my first GP appointment yesterday, which was quite uneventful but exciting nonetheless! Filled in a few forms, and he gave me a prescription for folic acid. He said he was referring me to the midwife slightly earlier than normal as I'm over 35 (he said I looked younger though, the silver-tongued old devil :p) but he said I'd still probably get my first scan at 12 weeks. Can't wait for that - it's gonna be a long 5 weeks! He was lovely though, I didn't feel rushed at all and he said to call him if I had any questions.

Big labour vibes to everyone who needs them xxx

cool :) thanks for answering, I'm just being nosey;), but really like people's views on where to give birth...

Hope you're not just saying that to be polite lol cos here comes mine. I've had 2 hospital births and am already down for a homebirth this time, all being well. My main reason is that being in hospital really stressed me out and I had a pretty miserable time of it both times. This is probably my last bub (I'd really love 4 but don't tell anyone ;)) and I'm determined that I want as nice an experience as I can have this time. With the last baby I was doing just fine at home, decided it was time to go in only for my contractions to completely stop dead upon arrival. Was sent home feeling very upset only for it to all start up again as soon as we stepped foot inside the door, no word of a lie!

I hung on at home a bit longer than I should after that as I was really worried about getting sent back again, things went mental during the car journey to hospital which was really not fun, scared both me and hubby. When I got to the hospital again there was no time for much in the way of pain relief. I delivered a 10lb 9oz bub with just gas and air and got snapped at by the midwife for making a noise!

Anywho if I have to go in this time then so be it, I've done it before and I can do it again but looking back at both births I can't help feeling that if I'd been able to get myself comfy in my own surroundings I would have found the whole thing a lot less stressful. The midwife I booked in with was very pro so my only prob might be if I stay consultant led rather than midwife (I've had to be referred due to a bit of a lazy thyroid but she was of the opinion that they'll see me once and bounce me straight back) or if this one looks like it'll be even bigger than the last - goodness help me!!

Thanks for the link to the homebirth site, exactly what I wanted! :D
    :heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:

Hi girls, thanks for everyones advise about the bed, looks like an Ikea mattress for me then! Think it may have to wait til after xmas tho, boo!

JHA -Hopefully I won't be here for secret santa, but the way things are going you never know :rotfl: Glad you have a good time yesterday with Weezl and lovely little Fergus, he always looks gorg in his pics.

Kindof- Booooo!! To the bank, seems a bit unfair

Thanks for vibes everyone- but you all ready need to try harder!
Having curry for tea and got 2 pineapples so fingers crossed. Just about to put clean sheets on the bed so hoping that will encourage water breakage :rotfl:

Was just at Asda, it was horrendously busy! Couldn't beleive it, ended up just whizzing round trying to get out as soon as possible, busy shops stress me out! I hate shopping especially for clothes. DD is away to Glasgow today with her Gran and Aunty to spend birthday cash, there was no chance of me taking her!!

On the money front our mortgage fixed rate ends next month and will be on lenders SVR which is 5% less than we are on now! Thats about £200ish reduction in payment, which is just as well or we'd really struggle.

hope everyone has a good day, and continues to be productive.
