Welcome MERFE! And congrats! Cant belive we're on May 2010 already

I thought March was ages away lol.

    How are you today? :)

    xx
  • Welcome Merfe and congratulations! How many weeks are you?

Harley- sorry you are feeling pants today. Curl up on the sofa with a hot drink this morning and you might feel better this evening. Have you got any honey and lemon in? I find a hot honey and lemon makes you feel instantly soothed.

EA- take the opportunity to have a clear out and get rid of some of your clothes that you never wear. No point packing and unpacking stuff you don't need. Your house move has come round really quickly- you must be so excited!

I hope I don't doze off at the hair dressers. I'm really sleepy this morning. Probably just need some fresh air.

  • Ooh, btw, can anyone help me with a birthday present dilemma. OH is 30 next Saturday and all I have for him so far is a DVD! Has anyone got any ideas of smallish type things I could get him? I've organised a meal and a surprise cake, but bearing in mind I'm 34 weeks pregnant haven't really felt like going over the top with it........I do want him to have a good one. I did order him a 'If you think I'm cute, you should see my Daddy' bib but unfortunately he opened the post that day so has seen it!!

Hi only 5 weeks at the mo, i had 2 bfp yesterday and another one this morning just to be doubly sure. Dates may change at the scan as they are a bit of a guess but its the best i can do for the minute. I had a miscarriage a little over a year ago so we are not going to tell friends and family just yet but i had to tell someone lol. I feel my symptoms are alot stronger this time round so i am more confident this time round. I know some family members wont be happy either as we have 1 of each so surely we are finished having children so another good reason to keep it quiet for a little bit - its just so hard.
I am hungry and i feel sick - ds wants pizza and i'm tempted to make one, just can not stomach cereal or fruit, maybe eggs would be a healthier breakfast lol. obviously hard boiled!

Morning all, welcome newbies and wow kenny is real lol you are reinstated as a sane person beenie hehehe

GISI on ebay a couple of weeks ago i seen a Daddys tool bag you may like, It was basically a tool belt like the workmen use but instead of hammers etc it had nappies wipes etc in it i was thinking of it for the OH too. If i find it again i will post you a link.
    Found it

OOOOWW just think fitzio could be in the throws of labor as we speak:eek:

Weird one with my sister yesterday, one minute she was freaking out the way she has been for months then all of a sudden she went to her room and got dressed, first time in months we have not had to escort her to do it. Happened so fast my parents who were sitting at the table missed it. It lasted all day last call i got at 9pm she was still HER, fingers crossed it lasts and she hasn't went back again this morning. light at the end of the tunnel after all.:)

I think all of us can sympathise with needing to tell someone.

Don't tell anyone but I just had oatcakes, cheddar and piccalili for breakfast. I really fancied something savoury but we don't really have any savoury breakfast things in. Pizza sounds fine to me!

Hmmm, GISI, men are so hard to buy for!! Could you frame a nice picture of you 2 together? Not sure what your OH is into, so is hard to come up with ideas! Sugar was touting herself as the pressie expert, lol...

Welcome Merfe! We didn't tell anyone until after the scan, so I understand how hard it can be to keep it from people.

Welcome kenny! Feel free to introduce yourself :D. Poor Beenie thought she was going mad the other night, lol...:rotfl:

harley - sounds like you've got what I had last week! Only thing for it is to curl up and rest as much as possible...horrible b/c all you can take is paracetamol (which does nothing for colds), but hoping you feel better soon. :o

Oooo, Fitzio might have had her baby already - good luck, hon! ML has been gone for 2 days, so hopefully she's busy cuddling her baby cub too :D. I love babies!

Can't believe I missed the 100 days mark...have a countdown on my desktop but must've not been paying attention. 98 days seems so much less!!! Apparently I'm in the last week of my 2nd trimester!!:eek:
