  • Its flying EA, I Kinda freaked the other day cos I realise we are nearly halfway lol

Yorkygal - It will be the midwife at your booking appointment who works out your EDD, you could tell her you usuallt have a 22 day cycle?

Your first scan is usually around the 12 week mark :)

Your OH can deffo go with you to all appointments if he wants to, the midwife at mybooking appointment asked me loads of health questions, took blood (5 different blood test) but you dont have to have the blood tests if you dont want (I only just found that out the MW didnt tell me they werent compulsay (I would have had them but its the principle lol)) I was there quite a while.

Then once you have seen MW you just have to wait for your 12 week scan

Then here where I am, once I had my EDD from teh scan I had to ring for a midwife appointment on my 16th week for Spina Bifida and Downs Syndrome blood tests

    HTH

Thanks for the info;) Does the highlighted bit means I see the MW for the tests etc then have to go back for the 12wk scan???? If so how long before the 12wk scan will I get to see MW??
Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!! :D
  • yey crack open the coke and biscuits :jGTT came back normal I really didn't think it would as my cousin had hers and it came back positive.

Im am going nightie mad. I have just bought 2 more for hospital as i will be in for a few days. Bargain at £2.99 for the 2 very MSE. They were from a really good local shop that stocks ex chainstore items. Everything is m&s, mothercare, george, ladybird etc but the shop is closing as the rent is too high shame as they are always busy.
    This is my signature!

CB thanks i'm feeling a little better today.

I did take some of the Night Nurse last night (not meant to in preg, but i consulted myself and decided to take a half dose). And OMG it's like miracle liquid. Tastes disgusting but it really cooled my chest down cos my lungs feel inflamed and on fire, but it lifted all the crap and i was able to breathe hehe.

It didn't make me fall asleep as fast as i'd like but i slept pretty soundly once i managed to go.

Really wish it wasn't advised not to use in pregnancy cos it would make life so much more bearable. Then again, i'd prefer something that does the same but without knocking me out
  • Ummm mine are from Ethel Austins if you have one near?

Have you tried primark? (although there PJ's shrink after a few washes :( )
And i think ASDA and Tesco do PJ's to :)

    Or maybe ebay?

Not sure kindof but if you want a big size i'd make sure the trousers have a tie so they don't fall down

I'm confused, can someone tell me if i'm being slow?!

    Pampers Sensitive Wipes 63 pack....

Currently £2.24 in Tesco on BOGOF so £1.12 per pack

But just looking at Morrisons site and they have 12 x 63 packs on offer at £7 which would make it 58p ish per pack?

    http://www.morrisons.co.uk/Offers/Baby/

Hope i've understood that right, tis a good offer if so.
