  • Well I have just been out fitting the ISOfix base into our Golf. Took me a while but Ive done it, yey!! Tried the car seat in it too and although a snug fit, it all fit in our lil car so thats good. Had fun trying to get it out again, good job we are testing these things early I guess!! I was planning on leaving the base in the car now, thats ok isnt it? xx

EA - I too wake up for a drink and the loo in the middle of the night. Thirsty work this sleeping lol.

Weezl - will def be trying the massage for the same reason as you, would rather have this eew now than the eww later on.

Gisi - think thats a personal thing with regards to the car seat, but if it helps the Cabrio is a way better car seat, the M&P ones tend to be really up right and new borns always look so uncomfy in them.

elastigirl - grr them annoying hospitals!

Nanc - I already bought a Calin Bleu sling as it was a bargain, its grey micro fleece and I can't wait to use it. OH laughed at me when it arrived as I was wondering about the house with a teddy in it hehe. Also want a Mei Tie but want to get to a sling meet too and check these out.

Have been looking out music to play to bubs now he/she can hear. Anyone else doing this? Woke with a stupidly sore back this am, its gone now but I have a feeling this could be a regular occurance and is only going to get worse :( Not sure I can feel bubs yet, said to MW I get wind type, rumbly tummy type sensations and she said thats it, but still not convinced! Have a few quick cramp like sensations too, will be happy when LO starts booting me good n proper tho hehe.

That helps alot, thanks Somnium! We've decided to get a Maxi-Cosi and sell the M+P one on. I had read reviews saying the M+P wasn't ideal at first. My aim is now to make the cost of the new car seat back from eBaying and Gum Treeing!

I want a Mei Tai too! I might pop along to a sling meet this week, but is it weird to go before you have baby?!

Also is there a sling meet soon in cardiff - are you going?:D

Sorry, it was a bit of a cryptic joke :) the bony ball of 35cm circumference was a reference to fergie's head measurement at birth :rotfl:

I could kinda reach for most of my last PG, but DH used to do it, or me in the bath. You can get a good stretch in the bath!

I could be persuaded to go to a sling meet if I could meet a MSE friend there....;)

Wow lou66 on the double womb – that is amazing. May I ask does that mean you can have two pregnancies at the same time of different gestations?

CONGRATULATIONS GILL – on a nice scan and a nice EPU.:j

    Welcome Mrs T

Gisi - yeay for making a decsion, and double yeay for mei tei's lol. I suppose you might feel a lil outta place with no bubs but then if it were me I would soon get over it, your there to be practical really and get some advice so you can start sling wearing asap. I have my eye on a joey sling and thinking about renting one first, as its only £9.99 for two weeks and you get a £10 off voucher when you rent.

grr! yet another reason i have little faith in my hospital.I was told to ring at 3 for my results for my GTT as they would need to see me asap if it came back pos. I have now been ring for the last 1 hr and 27 mins and no answer. I bet they left dead on 3  So if they want me they can ring me now.

Elastigirl, I'd give them a ring in the morning just to be safe. I was supposed to up my iron tablet intake a few weeks ago but because they never rang me I assumed my levels were ok. Well it turns out they weren't and it took me nearly two weeks to find out that I should have doubled my dose. They are only human and it would be more sensible to give them a quick call to check than to assume like I did and be wrong.
