Well ladies, time is certainly flying!!

    However, I think I am 99% there! :j

Wedding ring now bought, picking my dress up on Friday, have my underwear and jewellery :T

Just got to get together a pack of all the information we will need on our travels (hotel phone numbers, booking references etc), change some money (can't believe the £ has dived even further!)

Oh, and I spent this evening practising my cupcakes. Having lemon, strawberry and white chocolate and chocolate ones with chocolate icing (didn't practise those as I make them all the time)

Only problem as it was in the evening had to take it off after a couple of hours so dont know how long it will last !! Still need to sort out the flowers and lots of other stuff too !! Dress fitting on Saturday.

Awww, thanks ladies. Even if I do say it myself, the cakes were lush, but I could only manage half of each as they were sooooooooo sweet!! DF was in heaven - 4 bowls to scrape, one of each cake to try and then my left overs!!!

JJ - good luck with your fitting, when I went last time my dress was nearly finished and I really didn't want to take it off! God only knows what I will be like this Friday!! Putting my hair up and taking my shoes and jewellery with me so I can get the full affect :j

seabee - those cup cakes are fabulous : )

good luck for the dress fitting, It really comes together when you see the full effect, I'd reccomend to anyone trying their hair to take photo's as I loved my hair the other weekend but looking back at photo's I hate it! It just doesn't photograph well at all, back to the drawing board!

Hen night this Saturday so really looking forward to that, stag do was weekend just gone, which worked out well in the end, mine being after his that is, gives me chance to get him back : ) lol

only 2 weeks to go now and I'm full of cold, didn't sleep a wink and fretting whether I'll be well for Saturday or not!!!

So how is everyone else doing at the moment?

I'm full of cold too! keep telling myself better to get it over with now!!!
Menu finalised, numbers finalised, just waiting for invoice to pay final balance.
    To Do:
    Finish a couple of corsages,
Print order of service, (need to buy paper first!),
    make remaining favours,
and my partner needs to finish making the candle holders - think that's it!
We both finish work on the 26th March so we have plenty of time the week before to finish off any bits and bobs!
Not feeling the stress or any wobbles yet!

  • Got to do table plan on a board, arrange for table place names.

Pay for the rest of the do (final 10%), the cars (final 60%), Disco (final 80%), buy the gifts for the bridesmaids / ushers.

Everything else is pretty much sorted, dress fittings are occurring I believe and they are all going well. No issues at all right now, sweet!

To be married on the 5th April 2010

I swing between, everything is fine we're on track to omg there's 2 weeks to get everything done!!!
My partner needs to finish the stained glass centre pieces for the tables, I need to print the order of ceremony (bought the coloured paper yesterday) make the last 25 favours (flannel cupcakes) make fasinators for my mum and her mum and finish a couple of corsages, have got tomorrow off work so should get some done then and we both finish work on Friday so we have the whole of the week before off!
Really, I think it's coming together fine, menu and numbers areconfirmed and paid for, cheese for cake ordered and paid for, decorations packed in box in spare room, etc.
Have little moments off oh god what about X have to write that on the list, but no stress or panic! Hope it stays that way!!!

    Hi everyone

We're doing ok (I think!) DF finished rebuilding his scooter yesterday, so today was mostly spent taking them both for a test run (it's a dirty job but someone has to do it, lol!) Actually we had a fab day riding around the Peak District - took a packed lunch and just stopped when we found somewhere pretty

I picked my dress up on Friday and I love it, however, I still feel that I would like the skirt to be a bit more "poofy". Wondering if I should order another petticoat - the dress moves beautifully, I just can't help thinking it should stick out more. I don't know, maybe I should wear it around the house so I can get used to it, lol!

Changed our money up yesterday, so that's all the finances sorted. Received our itinerary and contact details for the in resort co-ordinator, so now just have to meet up with her the day before the wedding and go through all the last minute details.

Think I am going to make MIL a book which shows her each stage of our journey. Bless her, she is so old and frail, but would love to be with us, but it just isn't possible. I thought I could inlcude pictures of the things we will be seeing and a map with dots that shows where we will be each day.

Can't believe how un-stressed I am! Really starting to hit home that we will soon be on our way. This time in two weeks our scooters will be loaded on the train and we will be leaving Germany and waking up in northern Italy
