Also got my cancellation this morning.
So I've done a bit of searching on the Tesco Books site and there are a few hardback books for around 95/99p in the Children's, History and Sports sections. The children's include some Ladybird classics, and the sport includes a "football grounds from above"
I did the searches by selecting each category from "Book Categories" column on the left hand side of the Books Home Page, then selecting "Hardback" from the "Format" column on the left hand side. Then clicking on "See Full List". Then "Sort by" - selecting "Price - Low to High".
Don't forget the 200 clubcard points code which is still working - post #206 - thanks - and don't forget to go through Quidco for the 4% cashback (every little helps).0 -

Mine cancelled too. As others have said why did they continue to take orders, they must have known they wouldn't have been able to fulfill all the orders.Dream as if you'll live forever - live as if you'll die today0

Mine cancelled - so back to the drawing board for christmas presents for my two nieces.
Why oh why did I not go with my instincts, I've never had a good experience with Tesco Books and as usual, the day after I ordered I saw about 50 of these books for 50p in my own Tesco but didn't buy because I'd just ordered them.
Oh well some you win
Next time I want to order books from Tesco - someone kick me.

Although I cancelled my remaining order it was despatched anyway and I phoned them last night and they basically said hard luck. As I'm being charged postage for some reason (they denied that I was but more order update clearly shows the total charge with postage) they said they would refund me once I get my bill if postage has actually been taken.
