EDIT: Yep code is def only valid for hardback books (which the JK Rowling book was sadly)

Mine cancelled too.

It got a lot of us looking at books on Tesco.com and a good proportion of us would have bought something else as well. Also they now have a list of registered card holders who actively follow MSE threads on their daft deals and if they have cancelled orders that far back maybe they never intended to supply.

If you think that is far fetched have you seen their ads which offer to load up your online basket with what you normally buy in store. Depends on how much you value your privacy I suppose. Start worrying if Tesco start to run any government functions. "Big Tesco is watcing you"

That code is DEFINITELY for hardbacks and that Christmas Carol is definitely a paperback. But what the heck - it appeared to accept the code so I ordered it anyway. If the worst comes to the worst I will have a 90p Dickens classic

Mine cancelled as well but more worrying is that I had other books in my order and as the free delivery has now finished my order without the Beadle books is a lot more than it was with it.
