Or whereabouts are you incase there are girls here who know someone local to you x

I'm in angus, i have googled, not seen much though.

It's all over for me on the second i get married on the first.

My dress has sleeves, so no bingo wing issue for me, but it's causing me other headaches due to the style of it (medieval)

There are some lovely half up half down styles, but after a while they blend into one whilst looking, so i can only do it for a wee while at a time. :rotfl::rotfl:

I've just got back Inspirations armed with flowers to make my own bouquet!

I've got ivory roses, cream and pale pink peonys, hot pink gerberas and a big fat hot pink double headed lily which matches perfectly with my shoes and DD's dress!

I've been faffing about with them since I come back and have to say I'm well impressed and chuffed to bits that I have exactly what I was looking for, less the hefty price tag or buying them already done!

The flowers cost me £30, and all the diamante and pearlised bits cost me £20, but I can get mine and DD's bouquet done with the bits, just need to take her up now next week to pick what flowers she wants.

I'm getting there...

10 weeks today!

Please feel free to ignore the rest of the post it is a rant about my Monster in Law but I had to get it off my chest! x

Going for a meal at the venue tomorrow. My mum and dad are travelling, his mum and dad are coming and his sis and her partner! Dreading it. It is the OH's birthday and it was only 4 of us going until he decided to invite the parents. It will only be the second time they have met in 6 years! The monster in law is already threatening to get drunk on the wedding day. We have asked her to do a reading during the service she accepted without hesitation. Well I say without hesitation she asked if there was not a more important part she could play!!!! Now she is spouting off to everyone about the fact that she is being made to do a reading and she is taking a box of wine and drinking some of that in the morning to give her some dutch courage!

She is also moaning that we have decided to put bottles of wine on each table - she wont get any she has to share a table with alcoholics!! It's us who has to share with an alcoholic, we aren't drinking in the morning so was hoping to keep some wine to one side! Apparently it is not a proper wedding - we have never met the best man (we known him 5 years and he will be here by lunch time!), we aren't having bridesmaids (we are but it is her step daughter who she hates), we aren't paying for her room (we paying for everything else), I am wearing red (what does anyone that fat want to draw attention to herself for), we aren't having flowers (I am making my own), we aren't having a cake ?(what is in the two huge boxes under my kitchen table?), she is sat on the top table (she doesn't want everyone's attention on her!!!). I just can't believe the cheek of her! There are loads more she has mentioned. The only thing she actually knows for certain is the few things we have told her. The rest she has found out through snooping! She went and searched my wardrobe for my dress while his dad distracted him! I don't know if I can take another 10 weeks of this - feel like cancelling and just getting married in the registry office on our own! The stupid witch is really beginning to spoil my dream. I don't think my dress will look right now and am doubting everything I have done so far. I don't want to say stuff to the OH cos he only tells me half of the crap he is getting off her, he thinks he is protecting me! I would just so rather she didn't come.

She is not happy about the food - we having a carvery as opposed a meal where everything has to be brought to people and bacon and sausage sandwiches for tea. She is bringing some food and will see if they can heat it up - she won't last until half 4 to eat! Aaaaaargh, just have to keep calm and remember in 10 weeks time I will be about to embark on the best day of my life, marrying the man I love and celebrating with people I love (mostly)! Sorry for the rant she is just winding me up and I didn't know where else people would listen!

All i can say is ignore ignore ignore, it's none of her business, you will look fab and i bet everything you've done so far is fab.

I have a joyful MIL too, except i've not talked to her for a good 5 years, and the OH has talked to her a handful of times in that time, mostly since we decided to do the deed Dreading her being their tbh, she likes a 'drink' too, and is split from his dad who remarried and she's very very bitter.

I'm sticking my head in the sand to deal with it. :rotfl::rotfl:

Next time she says something, not so nice, pull her up on it, or agree with her and say 'yes you are so right, what was i thinking i'll go with the neon dress instead.'

had my hair/makeup trial last night, was fab! I have been growing my hair for 3 years and its super long as was going for half up and half down, turns out that i prefer it all up! At least its giving it some volume:o

not got any good picks of me but heres my daughters(flowergirls)hair,its like a lady ga ga bow! :

Oh hunny, her hair is gorgeous!!!!!!!! I'm having my hair half up half down, similar to that actually.

I've just been to pick my dress up, she's done it great for me, I'm sooo pleased! The wrist ribbon to hold my train up, she took it off and put a hot pink one on it for me, it's ace ~ I'm sooooooooo excited now!!

And yep, this time in 6 weeks we'll be married! xx

I go in 2 weeks for my first fitting!!! done car boot today and make just short of £200 so think in going to have horse and carriage as I want it and I cut back on everything else

So gla your dress is perfect. X x
