  • Hi, I'm getting married on the 30th of October too!

So far we've booked the venue and registrar and are now trying to find a venue we both like.

I know which dress I am getting and will be ordering it just after xmas! Or maybe earlier if we can get away with a cheapy xmas lol.

I've told my bridesmaid to pick a dress they like from landybridal (where I'm getting my dress made) so I can make sure they are all exactly the same colour. I don't care if they're all different styles (they're all different shapes and sizes so no dress will suit all of them).

I've also picked the flowergirl dress for my daughter. :D

Not actually bought anything yet, but at least we know what we will be buying! lol

Well I got a bolero at long last off ebay, for £9.99 including P&P, but its short sleeved and now worried I'll be too cold with bare arms?? Hopeless :D
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:
  • Well, I'd forgotten all about the wedding with the Christmas madness that gets to us all. That is until i realised we were 5 days away from 2010 and I still have so much to do.

Luckily, my mum bought me a fab pashmina for Christmas which is the same red as the detailing on my dress (I nearly exclaimed this in front of OH as I opened it ). One less thing to look for.

Honey moon all booked though. Just need to figure out how to pay for it.......

Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and is looking forward to getting back to the planning. :D
How long til pay day?

    It cost us £590

That's for 7 suits, ivory shirts, silk waistcoats, cravats, hankies and shoes

lol, managed to take my H2b shopping for suit in the sales as well - he bought 3 ... for himself so now i have to go take 2 back, just kept finding better suits for better deals in each shop we went in, ended up with a £250 dinner suit for £69 chuffed, and others are wearing their own black suits.

i think the price you paid for all the outfits was really good.

I think it's a ggod price because they are brown suits which have turned out more expensive everywhere
