Hey molls ta
I am a bit angry and a bit upset - its very strange to hear grown men snigger and make comments about how you write (seriously) - every statement they made started with 'well aside from the (snigger) miraculously bad grammar' etc etc etc
BUT onwards I have a job, desk and money til December and that's the main thing.
They might not beleive in me but I do - and all the support on here has made me feel so much happier.
SO that's my thoughts - Maman - yeah two masters HUH go me - how silly is that.
Anyway - didn't go home and open a bottle of wine so that's a positive! (All thanks to you lot)
RA - thank you for the post - it puts it all in perspective. My father lost everything and then his life to alcohol - I'd not had a relationship with him for the last 20 years before he died as he was always drunk, oddly he always wore a suit. He was unreliable, often drunk when I met him and I just couldn't cope. When I had my own family - (this is terrible to write but true) - I told him I never wanted to see him again. He never met my children. I just couldn't risk them around him - or maybe that was just me I had to protect, I didn't want them to experience how unreliable he was or see him drunk.
He lost his family, he lost his job, he lost his licence and he had to be autopsied as he died of alcohol posioning in a drinking buddies flat.
As I cleaned out his house which was bare but tidy - it was obvious any money he had was not for food but for booze - with photos of us all on the mantlepiece.
What a life, its not how I want mine to be and I do truely feel terrible that you have lost so much. xxx But I am so glad you found help.
I wish my Dad had found some help - we might have managed to patch things up.
Sorry for the melacholic post - sometimes I need to remind myself directly why I am so glad I've found you lot and so happy to see you all posting and very glad to read from experienced folks like RA, Molly, Bis, GC and others posting.
(sorry if any of you are offended by the openness of the post)xxTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
