(Hug) to RA and anyone else who needs one.
Hope you manage a good nights sleep tonight HB - tuck yourself up with a lemsip and a hottie.

    :rotfl:

I have also lost another 4 pounds this week. Total lost 2 stone 8 1bs. Since Sept 09.

    :T Very well done.

I am struggling with whether to drink today or not. One part of my mind is telling me it is okay to have a drink today as I have actually achieved my 5 day detox for this month. The sensible side of my mind is telling me that I have probably helped my liver so why would I want to pour more poison into my body?

    I haven't decided yet.

With apologies to RA for the obvious pun - but your post is a timely reminder of what any of us may stand to lose. I'm sure it was not intentional but I see that "health" was the last thing on the list, for me that sadly is the case so I have to think about the effects on my friends, family, job and lifestyle etc to try to be AF.

I was AF last night and also did not smoke. I felt very well when I woke up this morning. I am invited out tonight but will not be going, so it will be AF or low-A tonight. It's too far to travel and with the big bills this week it would be very foolish to spend any more money on going out. I need a couple of food items so I will go to Sainsbugs this evening and look at the reductions to see if there are any non-alcoholic treats. :A

I hope everyone has good weekends, I'm lacking an Ewok so hopefully I can be good today and tomorrow...don't want to be the Jar Jar Binks of the thread!

Oh and if you need a laugh - go on the Praise, Vent and Warnings board and look for the threads about wooden toilet seat danger, Morrisons staff keeping items aside and if you can find it, the one about people who steal toilet roll from the supermarket. These have made me laugh on a few long AF evenings!:rotfl:

    Love and hugs to all:lovethoug

snap for me too, having said that having an AF friday has lessened the cravings to consume today.

I think much of the cravings are dehydration as when I have a glass of pop they lessen

Will try to keep strong and sober tonight - is there a 72hr challenge going on over this weekend?
