Hi all,
Everyone seems very fired up at the moment which can only be a good thing, so much so that I feel inspired as well.
I have already pledged 10 days so at £4.00 a day that is £40.00 please Fay

xSEALED POT CHALLENGE 6 - MEMBER NUMBER 086 Special Star from Sue :staradmin :T:T0 -
I am disgusted with the money I have spent on alcohol. If I put my £6.50 in a pot from 1st Oct until 31st May 2010 then I would have £1,573.00....enough for us to have an amazing holiday!
I'm using the prospect of a nice holiday as motivation to go beyond the hundred day challenge. I have it in my head that Vietnam would be a nice place to go to...?
I've bought the lonely planet guide and I"m trying to get Mrs GP and daughter turned onto the idea. Unfortunately I have a feeling that as soon as I say 'Vietnam' to them, the things that pop into their heads are 'Full Metal Jacket' and 'Apocalyse Now'.
I think I have some work to do...0 -

Hi all-trying to catch up but you are all moving so quickly!!!
Special hugs to Jo- Jo I've been where you are and something needs to motivate you to flick that switch, it will happen one day, just make sure you don't get too ill before you make the decision and loose your health- you are worth so much more than this, you've got so much to offer, you are a really nice person- please don't let alcohol win, it doesn't care about you or your children, or anything really-and you don't deserve to be a slave to it any more. I will always remember my kids sobbing at the end of my hospital bed, with my dear old dad who was devastated too, when my alcohol induced hepatitis turned me yellow and I was really ill and having seizures- and I still don't know how things got so out of control, but they did, and it happened so quickly, its scary. Please don't go down that road Jo.
GP- shaving your bits, what were you thinking of!!??? You'll be itching for weeks.
Hope everyone is OK today- cheers Eselt0 -

Stupid idea. Won't be doing that again in a hurry...
Yeah, I did it once and they grew back grey!!!!!! Just seemed like a good idea at the time................0 -
Waves to E - hello
Feeling yukky - been looking at spreadsheets and inputting data ALL ALL ALL day
Inbetween annoying all of you
I can only claim that shaving 'bits' seems a most excellent idea indeed when very drunk and have succumbed many times.
This is very stupid as slippy baths/showers, drunkness, razors and delicate bits seem a very very very bad combination.
Another good reason not to drink - can you imagine arriving in casualty?
PS and yes another really good reason never to meet anyone! How can any of us stare each other in the face sensibly?
Off to do sensible, sober, science stuff now! (don's scientist glasses and a serious manner)...........Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

I think September has been a funny month for a lot of us, although the numbers are good, the bad days have been painful to endure!!
Yeah, why is that!I am on 10 AF days which isn't that bad for me but I have really, really struggled to make it to 10.
Yeah, I did it once and they grew back grey!!!!!! Just seemed like a good idea at the time................
 :rotfl:
I have never done it myself, I did dye it dark brown down there to match my dyed hair colour once and it came out an orangey colour!
