  • Hello all :hello:

Hope everyone's ok. I've been good and bad this last week. Bad as I really haven't worked out yet how to fit in time to come on here more often - must try harder! But good because [insert drumroll here] I have had a whole week AF!!! Never thought I'd do that so soon. Still mustn't get too carried away as I know I've been there before and fallen back down into the drinking pit again.

Fay I love the idea of counting the pennies (well pounds really, and lots of them) Can you please put me down for £5/day?

    Clara x
  • Clara well done - keep up the good work - in October you can potentially save...............- £100 (woo hoo updated you)

10th day AF for me today YM.

I think Fay's idea is great.:T I might take out £35 once a week for my drinking money and then see how much of that I can save.

I did try this idea before but it didn't work well but it probably might work if lots of us are doing it.:A

I am disgusted with the money I have spent on alcohol.

If I put my £6.50 in a pot from 1st Oct until 31st May 2010 then I would have £1,573.00....enough for us to have an amazing holiday!

  • Aw Jo I didn't mention adding it up for you to be disgusted - just arm yourself with the hard facts - it might help when bells are shouting.

OMG, that is fantastic!! Dont be disgusted with yourself, think how wonderful that holiday will be, how it is really something great to look forward to, and something you will have lovely memories of too for a long time afterwards. You can congratulate yourself for achieving that all by yourself. Something really positive.

September has been a dead loss for me

I think September has been a funny month for a lot of us, although the numbers are good, the bad days have been painful to endure!!

So glad you'll be back next month, we've missed you :)

Really looking forward to my holiday next year now :D might take the kids abroad to Portaventura in Spain as they've not been abroad before. It's all very well, though, to be positive now and excited, problem is having the same umpf later this evening. :undecided
