You know me so well ;)

Budgielicious, the only reason I have more stars than you is that you condense all your comments into 1 or 2 posts...I just post repeatedly :D

I'm up for an early meet & what Fay said about walks etc. I do side more with GC on not meeting somewhere with alcohol tho

I think we're thinking the same things!

    Evening MiLady :)

    Here's my logic

The worst drunken episodes in my life have been with a few friends who I use to go stay over with - infact I'd engineer every meet so we'd end up having a good few drinks.

When I first tried to cut down I'd avoided them for a bit cos they were gettting a bit ar**ey about my not getting blootered with them and that always involves staying over. I did feel bad about it but I needed to change not necessarily them.

I spoke to someone on here about it ages ago and they suggested (E?) that why not just change the bit which makes alcohol even relevant  then there's no scene about you not staying and no scene actually about drinking cos it isnt appropriate in alot of situations

SO now I meet up with my pal for a coffee, we go walk, we go shopping, but I don't stay over anymroe cos I'm not interested in getting blootered anymore.

    She's happy and I don't suppose she's even noticed

That's why I suggested an earlier meet - cos then its not really an issue as brekkies, walks and coffees don't involve alcohol normally. (not that I am suggesting we can't meet up in the evening and not get blootered - I was just thinking of ways where it wasn't even an issue.

:) - secret stripey logic :D that is keeping me more and more on the straight and narrow

However, I'm like Jo - far less inclined to drink much when out, more problematic in the house alone - which I'm tackling head on!

    And speaking of tackling.......................

    HB I think I have 2 or 3 more AFD's - when did I get to 7?

All the "visitors" (read: uninvited guests :rotfl:) should be dead but they don't seem to have grasped this fact as yet

Should hoepfully sort it so then I'll just have another mammoth cleaning/washing sofa covers etc session to go through. The council will be back to check on things next week too so paws crossed :)
