Anyway I've wavered this week, being house bound makes it feel like im on holiday again  so need to get back into the zone again iukwim!!

:hello:to Winebox, nice to see you posting again.

Miss P, did you watch my big fat diet show on Tues ch5 I think, they were showing how much 100 cals was in loads of different foods, I was so shocked how calorific things like fairy cakes were...glad I don't have a sweet tooth!!!

Cried at Jeremy Kyle (well not actually at him iykwim), very sad, had a bloke on that lost his son in 2007 after a drinking session, he poisoned himself, the lad was only early 20's :( He was playing the drinking game they'd seen in American Pie where you keep drinking shots till you can drink no more. He had 'won', the other lad had to stop and then threw it all up. His son was so drunk and they put him to bed to sleep it off but died in his sleep. The friend thought he was alright cos he was snoring but apparently that's the first sign of alcohol poisoning

    Very sad :(

Well that means that millions of people are going to bed every night with alcohol poisoning, myself included
  • Liked your link Jo. Think the first sentence sums it up. 'Alcohol is a poison and too much can kill you'

All or nothing seems to be the way forward. I'd love to be one of those people who have a civilised glass of wine with their dinner, the kind that actually use wine stoppers

Who are these people? I've never known anyone like that!:p

Well I braved the snow and got Piglet to nursery. Hooray! He was quite happy as they mentioned making a snowman.

Dad just popped by to give me some money bless him. Normally on a Friday I clean my SIL's house and the money I get keeps my car in petrol for the week. Dad said I wasn't even to attempt going (brother and SIL live way out in the sticks) and that he would pay me instead. I have a very lovely Daddy.:T I hadn't been down there for a few weeks cos of christmas etc so was getting a bit brassic!

Still stuck and working from home. Had to stop to feed the animal - sorry DD. I made her a tent upstairs (duvet across couple of chairs) and that seems to keep her occupied. Thank goodness.

Thank you all for this morning's chatter - really made me feel better so that I can finish my cup of tea and get working again.

Jo - why don't you come here to entertain my DD so that I can work? Pretty please!!!
