Oh jo, poor you, children can be such a worry.

OH and I have had a quiet evening. Nice meal (duck!) and nice wine and champagne to see the new year in. He's now fast asleep and I thought I'd just catch up before off to bed myself. What time are you expecting OH and/or DD1?

OH is in Essex with chums and will probably stay there.

Haven't heard anything from DD yet.

I'm feeling bad about leaving you up and worryng about DD1. Hopefully you'll hear something good soon. Must go off to bed now but want you to know you're a star and wish you the very, very best with your 365 challenge!!

But don't worry, OH is in contact with her on the phone and will ring me if he needs to. I can't go anywhere cos the 2 little'uns are in bed!

Just heard that they've got the girl on a stretcher, she's wet herself and almost unconscious through drink. She's lost her phone and nobody knows what her mums phone number is or anyone that can contact her.

The demon drink huh.....keep this in mind as we start our new decade.

I'm off to bed with my phone beside me now.

Happy AF New Years Day!

Here's to a happy decade, the first of many.

I wasn't Af last night but a thought played on my mind over and over again about my relationship in my mind with alcohol.

Why do I find it so hard to let go of something I have become less keen on? Cunning and devious indeed I let it be with me.

Anyway AF for me today, plenty of squash and pop to hand, lets see how easy I let it come to me

Maman - sounds like a very nice New Years Eve to me!

Me and OH had a quiet one...it was lovely! And its lovely to wake up on a New Years Day without a stonking hangover!!!

Whilst not being keen on New Years Eve, I really like New Years Day. Feel very positive and it always feels I can make a fresh start. Me and OH spent some time last night looking at holidays. We didn't get one last year as we went away last New Years with the Kids and it cost us a fortune. So this year we are going to have a short break away if it kills us!!

Plans for today....find a pot to put savings in...for each bottle of wine I WOULD of had this coming year I will put a couple of pounds in a pot. Should be interesting to see how much I can save!!
